Hello. I would write a text string in a dialog. My o.s. is win95, 
no unicode; what is the method?
Sprintf? Textout? DrawText?

I would appreciate a small example (winapi).

You can get the code of F keys using this program
the key F is a extended code, first a 0 and other "char" for F1, F2, F3 ...

Unfortunately the F keys have not some certain ASCII code. They are like
shortcuts already assigned to some job. You can find the ascii code of
any other key using the following code:
