Hi,

Around buttons you have a 50% white and 50% dark surround box to make it =
look 3D .. those colors.. how can i change that? i want to make them =
more green instead of white and black.

Hi,

I wish to create my own buttons but also use standard buttons of windows =
with my own button style. so the main problem for
me is to add bitmaps to the standard buttons.. does anyone have =
suggestions or source's which i can compile with devc which
then i can figure out myself..=20

Hi All,
 Well , a few days back  I asked here about creating a splash screen for 
windows apps . Could never get started witth WxWiondows stuff , though :-(
 However , I was able to make one with the basic Microsoft C API .

 It's deisgned to launch JAVAW on win , but  of course can launch 
anything else ,
too .As there is no way to know when the java  app is completely loaded 
, it shows up for a preconfigured period of time .
The only way I could think of tracking whether the java app has loaded  
was to have a client-server arch. - that would've been a long shot, 
though ! Any suggestions ?
 Can anyone help me with tracking the mouse-clicks in the client area of 
the splash screen ?

Sorry for the delay of my answer, hope I can still help.

I've taken a look at the two makefiles you sent. Assuming that
you have MinGW Gcc and MinGW Msys (a port of the Sh shell)
installed, it seems to me that they should work.

Could you be more specific about which problem you experienced, 
possibly tell why you needed to modify the makefiles and describe
what you did?
