Try including `mmsystem.h'. The lib is libwinmm.a (-lwinmm).

PS: XP crashed on me. It mentioned an erroneous or missing `hal.dll' (which,
on inspection, WAS present). I had to re-install. Documented?

I am trying to compile programs using the MySQL APIs and have been rather
unsuccessful at doing so. The problem seems to be that the library files
included with MySQL are VC++ compliant viz. libmysql.lib and
libmysqlclient.lib. I tried generating the corresponding .a libraries for
Dev-C++ using the dllwrap utility but that still doesnt work. I may be
needing the corresponding header files for MingW for them to work.

Has anyone successfully compiled MySQL programs using Dev-C++? I would
greatly appreciate it if you could help me out here.
