Thread: [Dev-C++] Vupdate not working

Hello,

I just used vupdate to upgrade to 4.9.7.4. After that vupdate will not
work again. It displays this message when I try to run it "Your
devcpp.cfg file is missing the $ROOT field in its [VUPDATE]section. I
have checked the config file and the $ROOT field is there.

I'll appreciate some help please. Thanx.

Sorry for this trouble. You can get a fix for version 4.9.7.4 at :
http://bloodshed.ygto.com/tmp/devcpp_fix.rar (RAR archive)=20
or at :
http://bloodshed.ygto.com/tmp/devcpp.exe.bz2 (bzip2 archive).
Just uncompress the archive and place the new devcpp.exe in your Dev-C++=20
directory.
