Hi,
Would anybody suggest me a regular expression pattern matching library?
It must be capable of searching in binary files as well....

You can try boost. I don't know if it does binary, but you can check it out
at this link:

I do like the boost library, and I use it every chance I get. Especially
because some items from boost will become part of TR1 the next C++
specification.
