Thread: [Dev-C++] help/compiler

  this is my first time useing C++, i got the latest Dev C 4.01 compiler,
but every time i try to run the " Hello World! " it compiles ok but when i
try to execute it my program minimizes then maximizes- that's all it does.
any one have an idea as to how i can fix this?

You made a console app, so it pops a cansole then closes it.  Run it from a
console windows or add
system("pause");
