Hello,
I have just-recently started using gimv, for the
browsing and pre-editing preview of
photographs; I do not intend to "talk trash",
whatsoever, about gwenview, but it has lost my
attention, and gimv is seeming rather nice.
One of the features, which I had liked, about
gwenview was that gwenview has a
"bookmarks" menu; the bookmark menu makes
it rather easy to navigate the filesystem -- as for
to find directories stored in normal locations.
For example: I store any of my own photos, in a
directory under ~/record/images/photo/ ; having
had that directory, bookmarked, in gwenview, it
was very easy to find the directory, promptly,
without having to click around in the filesystem.
I presume that this may be an easier feature to
add to gimv.
So, It would be greatly appreciated, if you could
add a bookmark menu to gimv's menubar. (I do
not know GTK or C, so I can't really even offer to
patch gimv for this, heh.)
Thank you.
