IEND: CRC error while opening PNG File

Hi, I have a problem with showing PNG in thunderbird and multiple viewers in ubuntu. German Post sends previw in mail but couldn't be displayed. libpng error: IEND: CRC error
gimp is the only program which could show this file. I found entrys in forums that are from 2012 there was also a problem. Is there a possibility to fix this ? I could also send the png File if that helps.
