It would be nice to be able to preview the current
selection when you are tweeking the LADSPA effect
values. You could have a button on the plugin window
which when pressed played the current selection with
the current effect applied. Also an 'auto' switch would
be good that, when selected, played the preview
whenever you finnished tweeking a particular parameter.
