Installation instructions

The following prerequisites must be installed on the target machine:

• .net framework 4.0 full profile

  It is very important that this specific version is used, otherwise the addin will not load! (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32806546/vsto-2010-runtime-on-windows-xp-sp3)
• The Primary Interop Assembly (PIA) for your Office. For Office 2007 (may work with later versions, too):

Download the installer executable for the addin and run it as the user who wants to use the addin (making him/her an administrator temporarily if required). This is because registering the addin with Outlook only works per user in my setup.

The addin has been tested with Outlook 2007 with service pack 3 on Windows XP with service pack 3.

If you do not need Windows XP compatibility, the original project is recommended:

Known problems

The "Test or discover settings" button in the profile page may not work if the server uses an SSL connection (https URL). Please try a non-SSL connection (http URL) if you experience problems.
