perhaps this software is made more for cutout style animation, however I found trying to use this as a more "traditional style" animation software to be abysmal. The drawing tools suck and the design and layout is some of the most unintuitive s*** I've seen. I have tried dozens of free animation softwares out there and this one is by FAR the worst. I'm pretty sure most of the positive reviews here are bots with how repetitive they are. Try OpenToonz or even pencil2D if you are looking for a worthwhile free 2d animation software. This aint it.
