This release focuses on bringing all existing functionality into the UI. Specifically, this means several maintenance tasks are now available from the UI including the following.

  • Regenerating backup private key.
  • Optimizing logs on demand.
  • Validating blocks on demand.
  • Defraging local repository.
  • Full repository trimming on demand.
  • Repairing repository even if no error has yet been discovered.

New in this release is the ability to report very limited usage statistics to the service. This feature is optional, but enabled by default.

Also included are several UI improvements such as.

  • Better indication of why a backup is paused in the UI.
  • Better UI for supplying the UI password.
  • Set default to requiring UI password to the recommended value.
  • Fixed handling of private key recovery when changing the private key.
