About ESO Health Data Exchange (HDE)
Health Data Exchange (HDE) is is a Platform-as-a-Service interoperability solution designed to connect to different clinical data sources for the purposes of supporting continuity of care, clinical quality improvement activities, EMS reimbursement activities, and related business intelligence. There is no hardware or software to install at the facility or EMS agencies. Most connections and data extracts can be accomplished with existing resources within the participating entities. Because HDE connects unrelated systems, HDE support is a team effort coordinated by the ESO team. ESO’s integration tools monitor the traffic through each connection. If an issue is detected, ESO support personnel work with the appropriate technical resources to resolve the issue.
