Media.io

Pros: Sorry to say, but I didn't find any. All there features are pretty much available with better performance in Kdenlive and other free tools.

Cons: 1. No auto subtitle in trial account and when I bought, I got very basic subtitling
2. Video background removal allows download only once. And if somehow download gets interrupted, you'll have to use credit again to do the same work. Also it,'s background replacer not background remover
3. Licensing is not clear. I didn't find any place where my access and credit details for all purchased tools are listed, their support staff said that I get unlimited access but it's not true. I only got few credits for all tools

4. AI voice sounds too artificial. You get better sound in trial accounts of Veed.io or even many free resources are there with better voice

5. Useless artificial music creator

Overall: I raised request for refund on the same day when I purchased license for entire year. But they said that they can only do this if there's a technical issue and whether that is a technical issue or jot, it will be decided by them. This is what they are doing after giving 15 or 30 day refund policy. Here I am listing just a few pain points that I experienced.

1. 1st problem is very tedious login on every app. I mean this problem is so trivial, how can they leave it like this?
2. I mainly purchased the license for auto subtitle, with trial account we can't generate subtitle and when I purchased I found that the style option is very limited, also no highlighting. I get the same result with kdenlive for free and now YouTube create does better job
3. There background noise cancelling is very basic. Even after 3 repetition I can still clearly hear the humm noise

4. Licensing is very confusing. There is no place where you can see your access limit to all tools that you get. Even there support staff told me that I get unlimited access to all tools and that is not at all true. I used there video background removal tool, they basically gave me 2 or 4 min for entire month. If I need more I'll have to purchase more minutes, this is what I get for purchasing license for entire year.

4. I used there AI voice: it sound so artificial that it feels irritating and emotionless. It's unusable.

5. If you are editing video in their editor and want to use noise cancellation (for example) then you'll have to go to noise cancellation tool and clear audio there. Where as almost all other alternatives has option right in the editor itself to save time and make process smoother

6. In there video background remover. Once you downloaded the video, you can't download that again. Yes! Even the same video. Just imagine, that due to some random issues the download failed then you'll have to use your credit again to do the same task.

I can only go on with problems with media.io.Specially there support, they literally took 18 minutes to say Hi when I was 1st in queue.

I had an forgettable experience with media.io. I am just hoping that they refund me

Pros: Nothing. Very bad app. with constant technical issues and very slow. I just want my money back! Now the only message I got from them is that I haven't emailed them in those 30 days.

Cons: The app. has constantly technical issues.. From day one that I bought it the app was not processing my video.. I had to email them and had to wait 2 days to get a reaction. Then a few days later I had the same issue and I have sent them an email.. And I stated that I want my money back.. They said this was not possible because my issue was fixed. I kept emailing them and they were constantly saying that I can't get my money back.. Their policy is 30 days money back guarantee. I have lost 100 euro for nothing...

Overall: Very bad app. with constant technical issues and very slow. The customer support is also very, very slow.

Pros: On the first deposit, Media.io fulfilled what it promised. The auto subtitling worked excellently. I am dissatisfied with the lack of support.

Cons: I paid $29 US dollars to Media.io for 10 hours auto subtitling. After an hour and a half, a new paying demand was requested. I complained to Media.io but I didn't get answer.

Overall: You can't count on support from this company. There was no response to my complaints. They do not fulfill what they undertake.
