Overall: It is a decent product with good price. It’s not easy to find a software that supports our two platforms, and it’s harder to find a software like Vinchin. The compatibility it shows really impresses me, it’s like custom-made. Task configurations are piece of cake. I don’t need to keep an eye on it cause the software will send me an email if something’s wrong, like shortage of storage. So, how can I not love it?

The node expansion, for example, expands the backup storage for more VMware data. All in all, it's an excellent VMware backup solution that includes smart backup and efficient recovery technologies.

Cons: For the performance of existing features, they're all great and we have nothing to dislike with. However, we hope to also backup VM on Amazon in the future.

And every time a VM crashes due to unexpected error, instant restore can always help to reboot it in second, we don’t have to worry about the issue of business downtime anymore.

Pros: What I love most about the software is its full consideration of user’s needs. Why I say so? Well, the installation is easy, and documentation is super easy and clarifies the most of problems I encountered. The rest I come to the customer service, which is very responsive too. Also, I find the product very cost-saving and smart, I set it up and it runs, that’s all, no strings attached.

Cons: All is good, but it would be better if the retention policy could be GFS that allows me to store backups for longer time.

Overall: Vinchin has no steep learning curve with the construction of user manual and sales support. Simple to deploy and configure. Took me less than 20m. Besides, the backup strategies have many techniques to support its speed and efficiency, like data deduplication, all sorts of transmission modes and Speedkit/CBT, the recovery is quite something as well. At first glimpse, the software is too simple to get why it is special, but you’ll know what I mean “special and considerate” when you use it.
