I'm thinking maybe it would be good to change the messaging to say something like "File content doesn't match the extension" in the error message, to be able to differentiate between unsupported file types and corrupted/wrong content for a given type. Using the new 1.1 release I get an "unknown file type" error when trying to open an OPUS file. Is the support only for encoding?
