Did you  try my patch on slowaris?

I kinda agree with what's being done...but the run
command needs to work...

I suppose what's needed is a table of breakpoints, and reapply them
after the necessary shared libraries are mapped in...

I have no problem doing breakpoints within libc, but when I
apply breakpoints with libbfd, I can't run again.
