gdb-4.16.85: Corrupt GDB built with native make on Solaris and Digital Unix

Thanks a lot for the patch, that fixes it on both systems.
Any chance that it makes it into the 4.17 release ?
I prefer your version to xargs, as xargs might not be available on older
systems.
