Introspect solution for ARM

Hi ,

i am looking at "INTROSPECT" kind of solution for ARM 7TDMI-S.


Introspect is a solution from Cygnus Inc. to enable debugging of a target system from a host that supports gdb, without expensive hardware/software tools. It works on traces & tracepoints rather than breakpoints that may alter the realtime behavior of a

program running in the target.



i need following information:



1. We have trace point feature in gdb. is INTROSPECT is part of GDB source?

2.  whether "INTROSPECT" source available ?

3. Has anybody have similar solution (remote debugging agent) on ARM?

4. If anybody has similar solution on target then what is footprint and performance ?

Can you please provide pointers (URLs/docs etc ) about how to go about having INTROSPECT kind of solution on ARM target?
