I've been a detective for many years, and one case that still stands out in my mind was the "Case of the Missing Heirloom." It was a complex and intriguing mystery that involved a family's treasured heirloom, a priceless diamond necklace that had been passed down through generations...

After what felt like 5 minutes of setting the scene, it then proceeded to establish a suspect and motive...

I re-questioned each of them, this time paying closer attention to their reactions and body language. And it was then that I saw it – a small, telling glint in Scott Evans' eye. It turned out that Scott had been struggling financially and saw the necklace as an opportunity to solve his problems.

And somehow, it picked me 😱 🤣

... In the end, I recovered the necklace and brought Scott to justice.

📎 So far this month I have deleted my Spotify, Xbox (Microsoft), Apple and Telegram accounts. I also managed to close an old Google account used for work.

Starting to put together my next #homelab.

Seeing how much I can squeeze into a 1L Lenovo m90q tiny. On the right is an Nvidia A1000 which should be good enough for some modern games.

Hoping I'll end up with about 16TB of storage, 64GB RAM and idle power consumption of about 20W. Lots of room for #self #hosting all the things.

I have been working on a big update to elva and it's using #11ty alpha (3.0.1)... I think I am just going #yolo and merge it into main shortly.

I want to get started on a new project with all the new features like bundled assets and simpler image embeds (with fancy lazy load).

It all seems fairly stable to me and I will update again when the next version of 11ty makes it out of alpha.

It's that scene in Fight Club where they break into the liposuction clinic to steal the discarded fat, mix it up a bit then sell it back to shops as super expensive soap.

Tyler sold his soap to department stores at $20 a bar. Lord knows what they charged. It was beautiful. We were selling their own fat asses back to them.

I’m resourceful, resilient. I power through the waves of disappointment. Maybe not quite thriving but I’m buoyant. I am at peace these days (give or take a fit of blinding rage).
