Tomorrow, 13 October, support ends for Office LTSC 2021. There is no Extended Security Updates option.    If your organisation still uses Office LTSC 2021, Project LTSC 2021 or Visio LTSC 2021, the applications will continue to work, but Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes or technical support.    Microsoft recommends Microsoft 365 Apps for most organisations, or Office LTSC 2024 where a fully disconnected setup is required.    Still using Office LTSC 2021? Not sure whether your team has the extra storage? We can help you check. If you use Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium, your mailbox storage has increased from 50 GB to 100 GB at no extra cost.    Microsoft rolled out the change between June and September. If Windows Server 2016 is still part of your IT estate, now is the time to review your options. Windows Server 2016 reaches the end of Extended Support on 12 January 2027. If your organisation is not ready to move by then, Microsoft has confirmed an Extended Security Updates option through Azure Arc.    This can help you continue receiving critical security patches after standard support ends. It is a short-term bridge, not a replacement for a migration plan. Affected servers must be enrolled through Azure Arc, and delaying migration can add cost and complexity.
