March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month🎗️🧠 Yesterday, our team stood with Brain Cancer Justice at Parliament Square, to commemorate their petition reaching 109,000 signatures and being delivered to parliament for debate consideration. This petition is a call for the UK government to provide transparent use of funding, as well as investigational drug Right To Try protections for terminally ill patients. Some further positive news is yesterday’s approval of vorasidenib (Voranigo) by The Scottish Medicines Consortium for use in treating certain populations with IDH-mutated low grade gliomas (read more: https://lnkd.in/eR_BsCEh). This approval, however, leaves Vorasidenib inaccessible to patients in the rest of the UK and Ireland. We support Brain Cancer Justice in their call to the NHS and NICE to introduce vorasidenib into the clinic UK-wide.
