🌴It was great to gather last night for the screening and Q&A of our latest travel documentary with Michael Palin, made by our talented ITN Productions team for Channel 5.

We had a fantastic few days at IBC - International Broadcasting Convention Amsterdam, with plenty of insightful conversations about the future of media, technology and content production.   Some highlights from across the weekend:   🤖 Our CTO Jon Roberts joined project co-leads Morag McIntosh, Brian Hopman and Alex Bassett to showcase the Story Object Model — a new open standard ITN has helped develop to enable different newsroom systems to understand and share the same story information, making it easier for content and editorial decisions to flow between tools. https://lnkd.in/ehmAk393 It’s now openly available for the whole industry to use. 👀 Keep an eye out for the showcase video.   🖥️Our ITN Post post-production team spent the weekend exploring technologies that will help shape future workflows, meeting with existing partners including Avid and Adobe, while also looking at innovations in cloud media access, storage, workflow automation and remote editing. Going off script, they asked Tilly how she feels about not being real and if she's concerned about taking roles from human actors. They later questioned human creator Eline Van der Velden on regulation and the ethics of using AI actors in the entertainment industry.
