Chirag Patel reposted thisChirag Patel reposted thisThousands of VMware partners are about to discover they were never part of the long-term plan. Broadcom’s VMware strategy is sending shockwaves through the channel. The VCSP ecosystem is reportedly shrinking from ~2,000 partners to fewer than 200 globally. For many providers, that means uncertainty around licensing, support, margins and ultimately customer retention. We’re already seeing businesses ask: “What’s our VMware strategy now?” Some are looking to migrate away entirely. Others simply want stability, continuity and time to make the right long-term decision without ripping apart production environments overnight. That’s exactly why conversations around brownfield VMware solutions are accelerating. At team.blue, we’ve retained Pinnacle Partner status and are actively helping providers and customers navigate what comes next - whether that’s maintaining VMware estates, reducing disruption, or planning a phased transition strategy. This isn’t just a licensing change anymore. It’s a channel reset. If VMware uncertainty is becoming a board-level conversation in your business, now’s probably the time to talk. I've got a PDF outlining what exactly is happening and the best options moving forward, get in touch if you'd like it. #VMware #Broadcom #Cloud #MSP #Hosting #Virtualization #ChannelPartners

Chirag Patel reposted thisChirag Patel reposted thisEverything we do at team.blue comes down to one thing: making online business success simpler for entrepreneurs across Europe. Today we're taking a big step ! 🚀 We just shipped 15 AI agents inside Macaly, our AI-native website and web app builder at team.blue. Soon rolling out across our local hosting brands in Europe. The concept: describe what your business needs. The agent builds it. No templates. No drag-and-drop. Just a conversation. Here's what the agents cover: 🎨 Design & visuals: show it a screenshot, sketch, or mood board and it matches the style. Stock photos, generated visuals, background removal. All in the chat. 🔄 Redesign: paste any URL, the agent studies it and builds a better version. 🎥 Video & files: paste a YouTube link or upload a spreadsheet, PDF, or doc. It turns them into pages and dashboards. 🏗️ Full-stack backend: database, authentication, email, admin panels. One message each. 🔍 Research & SEO: reads documentation, figures out integrations, and optimizes every page for Google. 🤖 AI features: chatbots, smart search, recommendations. Just describe what you want. 🐛 Debug: something broken? It finds the bug, explains it, and fixes it. This is what vibe coding looks like when it's built for real businesses. Not toy demos. Actual apps with backends, logins, and email. We serve 3.3 million SMBs across Europe. Most of them don't have a developer. Now they don't need one. Chirag Patel reposted thisChirag Patel reposted thisWe're proud to announce that we've acquired Macaly, an AI vibe coding platform that lets anyone create full web applications simply by prompting what they want in natural language. Founded in 2023 in the Czech Republic, Macaly moves beyond the scope of AI website builders by generating complete, production-ready business web apps. With Macaly, users can create business web apps, with data, logic, and workflows included out of the box, thus enabling also non-technical founders, SMB teams, freelancers, or internal marketing departments to go from an idea to a live web app in minutes, without needing to assemble separate tools or hire a development team. We're excited to welcome the Macaly team to the team.blue ecosystem. Together, we will strengthen our mission to simplify online business success with AI at every step, unlocking exciting new opportunities for our customers. Chirag Patel reposted thisChirag Patel reposted thisToday I’m incredibly proud to share that Macaly has joined the team.blue ecosystem. 💙 Macaly is an AI-native platform that lets you create real, production-ready websites and web applications simply by describing what you want. It doesn’t just generate bits of code — it builds the full product: structure, components, data models, workflows, hosting, SEO and analytics… all in one integrated environment. What makes Macaly truly different from other AI or “vibe coding” tools is simple: 🔹 It’s AI-first — but designed for production, not just prototypes. Most AI tools help you start a project. Macaly helps you launch and run it — fast, SEO-friendly and scalable. 🔹 It’s an all-in-one stack. Hosting, database, CMS, deployment, analytics and SEO are built in. No plugins. No patchwork of third-party tools. No technical glue. 🔹 It continuously tests and improves what it builds. You don’t need to debug or rewrite what the AI generates — it works end-to-end. 🔹 It covers both websites and web apps. From simple landing pages to data-driven applications — all created through natural language and refined visually. For entrepreneurs and SMBs, that means less complexity, less time lost, and more focus on building the business — not the tech stack. And that is perfectly aligned with our mission at team.blue: to make online success easier and more accessible for millions of businesses across Europe. Over the coming period, Macaly will be deeply embedded across our hosting brands, giving our customers the ability to go from idea → working digital product → live deployment… in minutes instead of months. No coding. No barriers — just creation and growth. I’m also very pleased to welcome the Macaly founders — Petr Brzek, Martin Duris and Tomas Rychlik — to team.blue. Their vision for AI-powered software creation fits seamlessly with our belief that the next generation of digital tools should be. I can’t wait to see what our customers will build with Macaly — and how this innovation will push the whole team.blue ecosystem forward. Welcome to team.blue 💙 The journey continues. www.macaly.comMacaly | AI Website & Web App Platform for Founders & Small BusinessesMacaly | AI Website & Web App Platform for Founders & Small Businesses

If you’re building a personal brand, be consistent. Share what you know, not just what performs. Be the same person on and off the timeline. And if you’re managing a brand, use your page to elevate others. Stop posting and praying, start engaging. Support your employees’ voices instead of silencing them. Last week, colleagues from across team.blue competed in the Hg (hg catalyst) x Anthropic Agentic AI Hackathon, building real agentic AI products alongside teams from ~30 Hg portfolio companies. The results speak for themselves: 🥈 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 built Blue Portal, an AI-powered guided experience that takes users from a vague idea to a fully configured, ready-to-use solution within the team.blue ecosystem. 2nd place overall and People's Choice Award. QGEMS is excited to host the North East .NET Developers Meetup at our QGEMS Newcastle offices on March 24th. Looks like it will be a great evening for developers with pizza, two excellent technical talks and great conversations with some of the best software developers in the North East. Our QGEMS Technical Director, Mark Thompson, will be speaking on Encryption in a Post-Quantum World, a topic that is at embedded at the core of what we do at QGEMS. Talk 1- Encryption in a Post-Quantum World with QGEMS Technical Director Mark Thompson Fresh from DDD North, Mark will explore how encryption must evolve in a world where quantum computing is becoming a real threat. You’ll learn: · Why post-quantum encryption matters today · How current encryption could become vulnerable · Practical code examples you can implement yourself · No complicated maths — just real-world concepts and usable code. Talk 2- Performance vs Best Practices — Adam Parker Adam will walk through a real-world application, using benchmarks to demonstrate how different design approaches affect performance, and when it might actually make sense to break the “rules”. If you care about performance, architecture, and practical trade-offs, this talk will be right up your street. Whether you're a seasoned .NET developer or just passionate about building great software, this is a fantastic chance to learn, share ideas, and connect with the local dev community. Manual. Time-consuming. Risky. ❌ That’s how Tony from Adverse Online described his old process, manually reviewing every single mortgage enquiry and matching clients to lenders by hand. 📌So we built him a system that does it all for him. Clients now complete one form. Behind the scenes, the system checks their details against lender rules and returns a list of viable options, automatically.✅ And it doesn’t stop there. The system collects their contact info, lets them save progress, and walks them through the rest of the mortgage application in one place. What used to take 4 hours per enquiry? Now done in minutes. More qualified leads. Less wasted time. No more working for free. If your systems are slowing you down, let’s build one that speeds you up. #E2EStudios #CustomAutomation #SmartSystems #MortgageTech #WorkSmarter #SMEGrowth #LaravelExperts

Should skilled admin spend hours extracting data from emails? No, they shouldn't. Traditional business workflows waste hours on downloading, filing and entering data into systems manually, which creates delays and mistakes. I created a custom solution for Consilium Contracting Services Ltd that automatically takes inbound emails, extracts specific information from PDFs, stores it correctly, and routes it into the right systems; no manual handling. Under the hood, the systems culminates Microsoft Graph, OCR through AWS Textract, and several other AWS services. The result of this is faster workflows, fewer errors, and more time for the work that humans should actually be doing. It is expected to save circa 260 hours per annum.

I loved the story Jamie Marsland shared on the latest Impressive Hosting episode, a story about his first WordPress training customer. After leaving corporate life where he'd close £40,000 deals, he placed one Google Ad for a WordPress training course priced at £99 per person. Driving down the motorway with his wife, he checked his phone and saw that first order come in. Despite being a fraction of his previous deal sizes, it was the most exciting order of his career. Why? Because the one order proved there was a market. That single £99 payment validated his hypothesis that people wanted to learn WordPress in a structured, accessible way. From that moment, he was "off to the races" - booking classes across the UK, teaching in meeting rooms and even pubs, eventually training over 5,000 people face-to-face. It's a great reminder that validation often comes in small packages. Would love to hear any similar stories. (Note: I'm on sabbatical, so I won't be quick to respond.) https:/https://lnkd.in/eWdz2sZ8

Want more local bookings in Derbyshire? Here are three practical SEO fixes we use at KHWD (after 40+ years of IT experience and a lot of coffee) that turn searches into paying customers. 1) Structured data for local listings — add schema to your site so your business shows up in map packs and rich results; expect faster indexing and clearer contact info for customers. 2) Mobile-first, speedy pages — we code with SEO in mind so pages load fast on phones (happy visitors = fewer bounces and higher rankings). 3) Locally targeted meta — region-specific titles and descriptions help you appear for East Midlands and Derbyshire searches, driving footfall and local bookings for motorhome and travel businesses. These changes lead to better visibility in local map packs and quicker indexing, which means more calls, more bookings, and more folks turning up at your door. Curious how this could work for your business? Visit https://wix.to/uID2e6w to see examples and get a no-nonsense chat. #LocalSEO #DerbyshireBusiness #MotorhomeTravel

My today's post is for all those who started their careers installing servers using CDs, manually racking hardware, configuring BIOS settings, and praying the OS would boot on the first try - how do you see the OPS world today? We have lived through a massive shift: From physical servers to virtualization -> to cloud -> to IaC -> to fully automated pipelines -> to AI assisted pipelines and operations, the tooling has evolved dramatically. But here’s the real question: With all these new OPS categories DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, AIOps, PlatformOps, FinOps, NetOps are we genuinely transforming, or just renaming? Because even today, many organizations still struggle with fundamentals: - Pipelines that fail for trivial reasons - Infrastructure automation that’s only partially complete - Security still integrated too late - Observability scattered across dashboards and teams - Ownership that becomes unclear during incidents We have given OPS different names, but honestly the real work and goal hasn’t changed i.e. clean automation, predictable delivery, embedded security, strong engineering hygiene, and clear accountability. The naming is evolving faster than the discipline. My question to all those who have witnessed the full journey - from bare metal to AI-driven pipelines - Do these new OPS terms represent real progress, or are we just packaging old responsibilities in new words? Curious to hear your thoughts. TechNExt is back for 2025, and I'll be running a session on Wednesday morning at the Data and AI hub. If you are coming along, you can expect to hear about building a data strategy for your business that will take you beyond a single database and prepare you for implementing AI. Although this may be quite AWS-focused, the strategy and thinking can be applied to any cloud or even on-premise.
