Google Cloud Learn with Communities is an initiative from Google Cloud that brings structured, hands-on cloud learning to students and developers through their own communities.

Instead of long lecture videos, you learn inside Google Skills — Google's official platform for cloud training. You spin up real Google Cloud environments, complete guided labs, and earn skill badges that go on your public profile. Every badge is proof you can actually do the work.

How it works

From Registration To Your First Badge

Five simple steps. Register through GeeksforGeeks, redeem your credits, and start learning.

Create A New Active Google Skills Account

Sign up for a NEW active Google Skills account with a fresh email, then set your profile to Public so you can share your profile URL. Watch how to make your profile public →

Only new accounts created after 15th September are eligible to receive skill badges — so make sure you sign up on a fresh account for the campaign.

Fill The Enrolment Form

Register through the GeeksforGeeks form. Pick your track, and enter GeeksforGeeks as your partner along with the referral code NRVC72. Developers (working professionals) also add their GEAR / developer profile URL. Watch how to fill the Enrolment Form →

Receive Your Enrolment Email

Once your enrolment is processed, you'll get a confirmation email with your unique access code. Hang tight — this is sent after registrations are collected, so expect a wait of 7–10 days.

Redeem Your Access Code

Open an incognito window, follow the redemption link, and enter your access code. Sign in to Google Skills and you'll see 9 credits ready to go. Follow the walkthrough video →

Complete Your First Lab & Keep Going

Open "A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs" and click Start Lab. Follow the steps, spend at least 6 minutes, and aim for a score of 100. When you're done, click End Lab — the 200 free credits are added automatically, no extra claim needed.

Check your balance at skills.google/my_account/credits. Then work through your curriculum and rack up badges.
