Round 1: Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Method: Online
- Purpose: To evaluate your cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Content: Logical Reasoning , Quantitative Skills , Verbal Ability , May include situational judgment assessment.
Tips:
Time management is crucial. Regular practice with aptitude questions, especially those related to reasoning and verbal ability, will be beneficial.
Round 2: Technical Assessment
- Duration: 40 minutes, 40 questions
- Method: Online
- Focus: Common Applications in MS Word , Pseudocode , Network Security and Cloud
Round 3: Coding Round (DSA-Based)
If you successfully qualify for the cutoff of the first round, you immediately receive a notification for the second round. Both rounds happen on the same day. This round consists of 2 coding + DSA-based questions.
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Question 1: [Easy — Medium]
- Question 2: [Medium — Hard]
The criteria for passing this round vary depending on the position applied for. For full-time roles, candidates are required to demonstrate at least one full output and one partial output. For internships, showcasing at least one full output suffices. Based on round 1 performance, some people qualify straight to the interview round and do not receive the link for this round, while others do not qualify for this round and, hence, the other rounds.
Round 4: HR + Technical Interview
This was the final interview round, lasting about 20 minutes. It started with a self-introduction and discussion about my projects and previous internship experiences
Some questions that were asked to me in this round:
- Introduce yourself
- Tell me about your projects
- Follow-up technical questions about projects
- What were your learnings from the project?
- What was the impact of the project?
- What was the problem you faced while creating your project, and how did you solve it?
- Have you ever worked in a group?
- Since I said I was familiar with Java, she asked me the difference between an abstract class and an interface.
- You can expect some basic questions about Object-Oriented programming in this round.
- Any previous internship experience?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- Your strengths and weaknesses?
- Do you have any questions about it? Are you okay with it?
Final Outcome
After successfully completing all four rounds, I was offered a spot in the internship program. The process was intense but rewarding, and I’m excited about the opportunity to learn and grow further at Accenture.
