Amazon Interview Experience for Support Ops specialist

Applied to this role from the Amazon careers page. I have received the mail for screening round after 3 days

Round 1 : Screening round:

  • It was an online round held in Amazon chime(interview platform).
  • Interviewer was mainly checking on the way we communicate.
  • Very basic questions like Self Intro, Previous work experiences, Toughest situations, How do you handle pressure etc.
  • If you get selected you will receive a mail regarding test(aptitude and versant).

Round 2: Logical ability test:

  • Basic aptitude questions on topics like coding-decoding, seating arrangement, Directions, Time and work etc.
  • Test was conducted in Hire pro, It was an online proctored test.
  • 30 questions are asked and the time limit was 30 minutes.
  • Once you qualify you will immediately move to 3rd round

Round 3: Written Versant test:

  • In this test they basically check your typing sped and accuracy.
  • It consists of 4 sections like Email writing, rewriting the sentence etc.
  • If you qualify in this round you will receive a mail regarding an in person interview in 2 days.

Round 4: In person interview:

  • The questions asked in the interview are:
  1. Self introduction
  2. in detail description about role
  3. Reasons of moving from IT background to Non It field
  4. Situation based questions like how did you deal with a situation, when the deadlines are near and you a lot of work to complete
  5. You are in a situation in your life where you have no idea what to do next, from whom did you take suggestions, how did you follow those suggestions, what changes did it bring?
  6. Mention a situation in your life where you have received feedback, and how did you improve yourself after receiving that feedback.


Final result of the interview: Cleared the interview.


Tips and Suggestions: Try to be fluent in your language and Don't try to fake about the situations. Just be open and speak freely.
