I applied for the Computer Vision Specialist role at Gazelle Information Technologies.
I received one formal call from the company after 2 days. This was basically resume-shortlisted information.
They ask questions.
- My current location
- Notice period details
- Expected and current CTC
At the end of the discussion, they informed me of the next round, time, and duration.
Technical Round:
(Just next, I got an email for this)
The technical round is taken by an experienced data scientist. The interview was on Microsoft Teams; the duration was around 1 hour. The interview started with my normal introduction and technical involvement.
Further, some ML and computer vision-related questions, such as:
- Working for a logistic and linear regression model
- Pipeline of the CNN and YOLO models.
- What is the confusion matrix and the related terms?
- Formulas for precision and recall as well as the usage.
- What is XGBoost and how does it work?
- Decision trees and working principles.
Then he asked some questions related to my previous work experience, such as:
- Which one is my best and most challenging project?
- Have I ever worked in field
- In which programming language I am more comfortable.
Two coding questions in the Technical Round:
- Create subarrays from the given array and sum there values. If the summation is equal to the provided Target value then seperate the subarray.
- Swap the 2 numbers without using temp or buildin function.
I solve the both questions. The second question I solved with +, -, and - approach.
HR Round:
After 6 days I received a call for HR round, then the online HR round has been conducted. The HR round was very smooth. They explained the whole work first and the current ongoing projects.
HR asked me some questions like:
- My current location and I am able to relocate or not.
- Is my notice period negociable or not? Actually, I have a 90-day notice period.
- Salary expectations.
- At the end, he asked me to ask questions.
They told me they would inform me soon. As 7 days gone, I am still waiting for a reply.
I will update here once I receive.
