1. Written Assessment
- Format: MCQ-based
- Number of Questions: 50
- Topics Covered:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning
- Basics of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, C, and Java
- Difficulty Level: Moderate
- Duration: 1 hour
This round tested both technical and analytical skills.
2. Technical Interview
The technical interview began with an introduction and a discussion of my projects and prior work. I explained my projects and expressed my interest in Java, DevOps, and application development.
The interviewer then asked some technical and problem-solving questions:
- DSA Questions:
- Problem 1: Given a string (e.g., "aaeshjiouccbmm"), determine the number of vowels in specific ranges. Multiple ranges can be given.
- Problem 2: Prefix Common Array of Two Arrays (LeetCode Problem)
- Conceptual Questions:
- Horizontal and vertical scaling
- Docker commands
- Questions on Jenkins
- Basics of AWS
3. HR Interview
In the HR round, the discussion focused on:
- Introduction: Brief self-introduction.
- Projects: Detailed explanation of my projects.
- Family Background: General questions about my background.
- Why Samsung: My motivation for joining the company.
