Walmart CodeHers offers an incredible opportunity for women in tech, especially for those in their third year of engineering. The program provides a prestigious internship with excellent perks, and I was fortunate to be part of this experience. Through the selection process, I gained valuable insights that I'd like to share to help others prepare and make the most of this opportunity.

Internship Details:

Position: Summer Internship

Stipend: ₹1,00,000/month

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Perks: Free office cab and free food at the office.

Round 1: MCQ Assessment

The first round consisted of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed in 30 minutes, with a time limit of 1 minute per question. Accuracy and speed were both critical, as the remaining time after answering each question impacted your score. The MCQs were based on computer fundamentals, covering topics like Operating Systems (OS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), sorting algorithms, and more. Being thorough with these topics was essential for success. I answered all the questions in around 24 mins.

Round 2: Coding Round

I got selected in the first MCQ round then after some days the coding round was scheduled. The second round was a 1.5-hour coding challenge featuring two DSA problems, one easy and one medium. I managed to solve both questions within 30 minutes, which significantly boosted my confidence. The problems tested fundamental problem-solving skills and required efficient algorithms for completion.

Result: Selected!

After successfully clearing both rounds, I was thrilled to be selected for the internship.

The Walmart CodeHers program is a great initiative for women to showcase their technical skills and gain real-world experience at a leading company. It’s a great learning opportunity with excellent perks, and I highly recommend it to anyone eligible!
