In a dystopian future, in a post-apocalyptic world, society has divided itself into five factions. Candor, who want nothing but the truth; Erudite, who hold intelligence above all; Amity, who love and desire peace; Dauntless, who value strength and life without fear; and Abnegation, who devote themselves to selfless altruism. Beatrice Prior is born under the care of altruist parents, but at the tender age of sixteen she’ll have to choose a faction to live with for the rest of her life. Her whole world has been Abnegation, but Dauntless also seems wild and full of life. And what about Erudition… Her faction orientation test gives her unsettling results, something dangerous that may even put her life in danger; but she still needs to choose a faction, and fast… before someone finds out.
LOVED IT. I love dystopian fiction and love YA, and this one was a perfect combination of both. Add to that a slow burn romance and fast paced plot full of action. Bingo. YA heaven. Loved watching Tris blossom from a shy selfless to a daring dauntless, without ever losing sight of her origins. The chemistry with Four was amazing, and the pair just make dual madness. Christina was also great. Caleb can go suck and egg. Oh yes and Peter and Eric, how could I forget those two! Yeah… f*ck ‘em.

Cielo joven adulto. Amé ver a Tris florecer de una tímida desinteresada a una valiente intrépida, sin nunca perder visión de sus orígenes. La química con Cuatro fue espectacular, y el par hacen locura dual. Christina también fue genial. Caleb puede irse a chupar un huevo. Ah sí y Peter y Eric, ¡cómo podría olvidarme de esos dos! Sí… que se pudran.

Esperanza Cordero is a latina teenage girl newly arrived to the house on Mango St, in one the poorest districts of Ch Home is where we are stuck in.
Esperanza Cordero is a latina teenage girl newly arrived to the house on Mango St, in one the poorest districts of Chicago. Through dozens of vignettes, she retells the story of her time growing up there, and the many friends and neighbors she shared her life with.
Overall this was good; lovely, sad, and heartbreaking. The poignancy is strong with this one. On the whole I enjoyed it, but with many reservations.
The main one being the incredible amount of vignettes regarding Esperanza's neighbors. I mean I think at least 3/4 of this book is just friends and neighbors alone, which makes around 40 stories with 40 different people, none of them exactly connected to the FMC, and sharing nothing with each other, other than they all lived around the same place. It was just too much for me, too many to hold on to the same thread.
In the end, I just felt like I read a short story collection of what's like living in the lower parts of Chicago, and Esperanza just a minor side-note in it, which is sad, because she was the strongest voice of them all. But anyway, it was still good. Very, very bittersweet though. And potentially triggering, at some parts.

El hogar es donde estamos atrapados.
Esperanza Cordero es una adolescente latina recién llegada a la casa de la calle Mango, en uno de los distritos más pobres de Chicago. A través de decenas de viñetas, recuenta la historia de su infancia creciendo allí, y de los muchos amigos y vecinos con los que compartió su vida.
Dentro todo esto estuvo bien; lindo, triste, y desgarrador. La intensidad es fuerte con ésta. En su conjunto lo disfruté, pero con varias reservas.
La principal es la increíble cantidad de viñetas sobre los vecinos de Esperanza. O sea, creo que al menos 3/4 de este libro son sólo amigos y vecinos, lo cual hace alrededor de 40 historias con 40 personas distintas, ninguna de ellas exactamente relacionada con la protagonista, y que no comparten nada entre sí, excepto que todos viven alrededor del mismo lugar. Simplemente fue mucho para mí, demasiados para aferrarse al mismo hilo.
Al final, sentí como si hubiera leído una colección de cuentos cortos sobre lo que es vivir en las partes bajas de Chicago, y Esperanza sólo una nota al margen, lo cual es triste, porque ella era la voz más poderosa de todas. Pero bueno, igual fue bueno. Aunque muy, muy agridulce. Y potencialmente traumatizante, en ciertas partes.

There was once an innocent naughty boy, whose evil uncle-priest made him do all the temple’s chores. The boy was miserable, and all alone in the world. Until, one day, he found his best friend and hope— in a slug!
Well this was fun, in a way. I’m giving myself a solid 3 stars for the story, rounded up to 4 for that special scene and that 3-word line that I LOVE and made it all SO worth it. I’m not going to spoil it, anyone who reads it will probably guess what I’m talking about.
This is so weird reviewing myself. Anyway, it’s a very quick and direct shortie; dark, humorous, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and very very poignant, I think. 20 pages short and packing a punch. Oh and apparently, or so they tell me, it’s also plagued with symbolism, allegories, metaphors and god knows what, and don't look at me I don’t have the faintest idea how any of that stuff got in there because I don’t even know what that means. I just wanted to write a story about a boy and his slug and somehow I may have accidentally landed something deep. Go figure.
Anyway. It’s free! So the link is right there below, if you wish to risk it. It’s also available for free on Kindle Unlimited and will be on Wattpadd as soon as I’m finished uploading it. But please, I don’t want your money, least of all from my GR friends. I’m not looking to make a living out of writing, and if it’s 0.99 listed on Amazon it’s only because it didn’t allow me to put 0.
Also, not proud to admit but, I didn’t always get my books the right way; so this is kind of my way of giving something back to the world and atone for it. If you feel indebted or whatever you can spread the word and if ever decide to get off my lazy ass to finish something else again I may capitalize on that. It’s not like a have e shortage of ideas, I have like 30-40 drafts in various degrees of unfinishedness, just sitting there gathering digital dust. Me loves procrastinating.

Había una vez un niño inocente y travieso, cuyo malvado tío sacerdote le obligaba a hacer todas las tareas del templo. El niño se sentía miserable y completamente solo en el mundo. Hasta que, un día, encontró a su mejor amigo y esperanza... ¡en una babosa!
Bueno, esto fue interesante, en cierto modo. Me doy 3 sólidas estrellas por la historia, redondeadas a 4 por esa escena especial y esa línea de 3 palabras que AMO y que hizo que TODO valiera la pena. No voy a espoilearlo, cualquiera que lo lea probablemente adivinará de qué estoy hablando.
Es tan extraño reseñarme a mí mismo. Lo que sea, es un corto muy rápido y directo; sombrío, gracioso, conmovedor, desgarrador y muy, muy emocional, creo. 20 páginas cortas y con buen impacto. Ah y aparentemente, o eso me dicen, también está plagado de simbolismo, alegorías, metáforas y Dios sabe qué más, y no me miren no tengo la más puta idea de cómo llegó todo eso ahí adentro porque ni siquiera sé lo que eso significa. Yo sólo quería escribir una historia sobre un niño y su babosa y de alguna manera pude haber conseguido accidentalmente algo profundo. Andá a enteder.
Lo que sea ¡Es gratis! Por lo que el enlace está ahí abajo, si quieren arriesgarse. También gratuito en Kindle Unlimited y disponible en Wattpadd, ni bien termine de subirlo. Pero por favor, no quiero dinero y menos de mis amigos de GR. No busco ganarme la vida escribiendo, y si en Amazon aparece precio de 0.99 es porque no me dejó poner 0.
Además, no me enorgullece admitirlo pero no siempre conseguí mis libros de la manera correcta, así que esto es en cierta forma mi manera de devolver algo al mundo y expiar. Si se sienten endeudados o lo que sea, hagan correr la voz y si alguna vez decido levantar mi perezoso trasero para terminar algo nuevamente, puedo capitalizar eso en algún futuro. No es como si me faltaran ideas, tengo entre 30 y 40 borradores en diversos grados de incompletitud, simplemente ahí tirados acumulando polvo digital. Me encanta procrastinar.

Ari is a teenage boy desperately wishing to move to the big city with his friends to party and rock with their music band, but when his sister marries and moves away he is forced to stay behind to help with the family business. An opportunity for escape arises when he hires Hector, a young student chef, to help with their struggling little bakery. Yet, while teaching him the trades, he's not so sure anymore if he's found more than just an escape.
I suppose this was cute? Fluffy? Simple? Way too simple? Truth be told this was kinda boring, barely moved me an inch, and landed for me as flat as truckload of perforated tires.
All the characters seemed uni-dimensional, when not ZERO-dimensional. And I keep wondering how many loose ends this thing has.
- Sister marries and is never heard from again?
- A so-called "band" that never ever actually practices?
- Cameron is a full time jerk and nobody kicks his ass? Or spits to his face?
- Ari's parents want to tell him something VERY important, and NEVER say it?
- A bakery that is ALWAYS broke, no matter how many TONS of goods they sell?
- If ovens set ablaze in mere seconds just for setting it to max I think anyone who cooks would be dead, myself included.
- A simple I'm sorry for reconciliation? Really? WOW.

And the thing is I usually miss all these plot holes; so either I'm getting smarter (hardly), or all this stuff is just so painfully obvious that even someone as shortsighted as me can notice them. Somehow it felt like my Young Adult self was spoon-fed a borderline Children's grade delivery?
Anyway. The drawings are nice, so is Hector, and Ari's parents. Anything else, I couldn't care less. I suppose the comic is overall ok, if you don't overthink it too much, or you enjoy baking. Interesting use of the color Blue, although I enjoyed the Pink in Laura Dean ten times more.

Una oportunidad de escape surge cuando contrata a Héctor, un joven estudiante de cocina, para que le ayude con su pequeña panadería en aprietos. Sin embargo, mientras le enseña el oficio, ya no está seguro si puede haber encontrado algo más que sólo un escape.
¿Supongo que esto fue lindo? ¿Entrañable? ¿Simple? ¿Demasiado simple? A decir verdad, esto fue bastante aburrido, apenas si me movió un centímetro, y me cayó tan soso como un vagón de globos pinchados.
Todos los personajes me pareceron uni-dimensionales, cuando no CERO-dimensiones. Y sigo preguntándome cuántos cabos sueltos tiene esta cosa.

Y la verdad que normalmente todas estas cosas se me escapan; así que o me estoy volviendo más inteligente (dificilmente), o todo esto es tan dolorosamente obvio que incluso alguien tan miope como yo puede notarlo. De alguna manera se sentió como si mi lado Joven Adulto fuera alimentado en cuchara con ¿algo de grado casi Infantil?
En fin. Los dibujos son lindos, al igual que Héctor, y los padres de Ari. Cualquier otra cosa, no podría importarme menos. Dentro de todo un cómic aceptable supongo, si uno no lo sobrepiensa demasiado, o disfrutás Cocinar. Interesante uso del color Azul, aunque disfruté el Rosa en Laura Dean diez veces más.

This was a cute little short story. Even though they hate each other, Clarisse and Percy make a fantastic duo when they team up against adversity. Clarisse brothers, Deimos (God of Terror) and Phobos (God of Fear) also make their appearance. Quick, sweet and action packed. Overall enjoyable, but nothing too outstanding.

Este fue un lindo cuento corto. Aunque se odian mutuamente, Clarisse y Percy hacen un duo fantástico cuando arman equipo para luchar contra la adversidad. Los hermanos de Clarisse, Deimos (Dios del Terror) y Fobos (Dios del Miedo) también hacen su aparición. Rápido, dulce y cargado de acción. Dentro de todo disfrutable, pero nada muy sobresaliente.
Este cuento corto es parte de 4.5 Los Archivos de los Semidioses.

Scottie Zajac is an insecure basketball player trying to get back with her ex-girlfriend after their recent breakup. Irene Abraham is a very Swish!
Scottie Zajac is an insecure basketball player trying to get back with her ex-girlfriend after their recent breakup. Irene Abraham is a very popular cheerleader desperately trying to win athlete of the year to get into college. When they accidentally car crash in the school parking lot, they find themselves forced to carpool for a while, until Scottie has a wild idea that could greatly benefit both. The only catch is, they’ll need to try to forget the fact that they hate each others guts.
This was a very nice sapphic Romance. Although with some questionable attitudes, Scottie and Irene were very nice, very flawed individuals. Sadly all the situations felt kind of artificial, at least until the middle; but after coming clean it all became more natural, and they started to grow on me. I found myself enjoying and liking a lot more all the secondary characters. Danielle, Kevin, Honey-Belle, Gunther, Thora and the adorably unpredictable little Daphne. On the other hand, hated Tally, and Charlotte. I think a bit more laugh out loud moments and an occasional different pov besides Scottie's could have worked wonders. Still, some very heartwarming moments, and a few tear jerking ones as well, with an intensive nonstop slow burn. A powerful message on the importance of communication and respecting the healing process. In all, a highly enjoyable read. Enemies to lovers, fake dating, LGTB, YA and a lot of movie references. Almost fav.

Irene Abraham es una muy popular porrista tratando desesperadamente de ganar atleta del año para entrar en la universidad. Cuando accidentalmente chocan autos en el aparcamiento de la escuela, se encuentran forzadas a compartir auto por un tiempo, hasta que Scottie tiene una loca idea que podría beneficiarlas a ambas enormemente. El único obstáculo es que, necesitarán obviar el hecho de que se odian profundamente.
Este fue un muy bonito Romance sáfico. Aunque con algunas actitudes cuestionables, Scottie e Irene fueron muy lindas, muy fallidas personas. Lamentablemente todas las situaciones se sintieron algo artificial, al menos hasta la mitad; luego de quedar todo en blanco se volvió más natural, y empezaron a crecer en mí. Me hallé disfrutando y queriendo mucho más todos los personajes secundarios. Danielle, Kevin, Honey-Belle, Gunther, Thora y la adorablemente impredecible pequeña Daphne. Por otro lado, odié a Tally, y Charlotte. Creo que más momentos hilarantes y una ocasional diferente perspectiva además de la de Scottie podría haber hecho maravillas. This is what graphic novels should aspire to. Mostly relatable characters, gorgeous artwork, beautifully compelling plot. VERY inspiring. The beginning kinda dragged, but the middle and resolution were truly magnificent. Can’t say I really approve all of Frederica’s decisions, but I can certainly understand them, and I feel her pain.
Absolutely LOVED all of Vi and Barfing Girl interactions. Also LIKED Doodle a lot, found her tragically adorable. Totally HATED Laura Dean, an uncaring and self-absorbed girlfriend bent on breaking young Frederica’s heart. (wait a minute… this sounds familiar!)
An exquisite LGBT YA graphic novel, the kind not easily forgotten. Refreshing. Uplifting. A favorite place well earned. Highly recommendable.

Esto a lo que las novelas gráficas deberían aspirar. Muy relacionables personajes, precioso arte gráfico, hermosamente atrayente trama. MUY inspiradora. El comienzo arrastra un poco, pero la mitad y la resolución fueron verdaderamente magníficas. No puedo decir que realmente apruebo todas las decisiones que tomó Frederica, pero ciertamente puedo entenderla, y puedo sentir su dolor.
Absolutamente AME todas las interacciones de Vi y Chica Vomitadora. También me GUSTO mucho Doodle, me pareció trágicamente adorable. Totalmente ODIE a Laura Dean, una egoísta y superficial novia empecinada en romper el corazón de la joven Frederica. (un momento… ¡esto suena familiar!)

Alex Blackwood and Molly Parker are both starting Pitt University. Alex is easy going and kind of a player; trying to rebuild her relationship after a recent break-up with Natalie. Molly is super shy and socially anxious; an introvert in desperate quest for new friends, and hopelessly in love with unattainable Cora. Alex is going to try to help her win her heart, and craziness is going to unfold for everyone involved.
I’m going to start by saying that my experience with rom-com and lgbt novels is near non-existent. That said, THIS WAS AWESOME. The kind of book I would love to reread like the first time. Molly has my winning socially inept personality, and Alex my occasional boldness and snarky humor, so it was no problem relating with them both. This novel shoved my butterflies all over the place and is as sweet as it can possibly get, without ever becoming too much. I lost count of how many times it made me laugh and smile. Swooning is also guaranteed. Perfect chemistry. Endless supply of quotes and moments to remember by.
I think this novel has a pretty easy lovable theme, so if you don't feel the magic by the first third of the book I would suggest to drop it, it won’t happen. The plot offers nothing new, I know I’ve seen something similar before, just can’t exactly pinpoint where. The ending is utterly predictable, I went in with nothing but the title and the skates of the cover, and still already guessed the ending by chapter 5. So this is not a novel about the ending, it’s a novel about the ride. And what a ride it was. Truly unforgettable. A spot in “Perfection” shelf, solid favorite and possible Top 10. Extremely recommendable, for the right audience. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a movie someday.

Alex Blackwood y Molly Parker empiezan ambas la Universidad Pitt. Alex es de trato fácil y algo mujeriega; tratando de reconstruir su relación después de romper recientemente con Natalie. Molly es super tímida y socialmente ansiosa; una introvertida en desesperada búsqueda de amigos nuevos, y perdidamente enamorada de la inalcanzable Cora. Alex va a tratar de ayudarle a ganar su corazón, y la locura se va a desatar para todos los involucrados.
Voy a empezar diciendo que mi experiencia con las comedias románticas y novelas lgtb es casi no existente. Dicho eso, ESTO FUE ASOMBROSO. El tipo de libro que amaría poder releer como si fuera la primera vez. Molly tiene mi ganadora personalidad socialmente inepta, y Alex mi audacia ocasional y humor sarcástico, así que no fue problema empatizar con las dos. Esta novela sacudió mis mariposas por todo el lugar y es tan dulce como es posiblemente ser, sin sobrepasarse en ningún momento. Perdí la cuenta de cuantas veces me hizo reir y sonreir. Embelesamiento garantizado. Química perfecta. Infinita cantidad de citas y momentos para el recuerdo.
Creo que esta novela tiene una temática muy fácil de amar, así que si no sentís la magia para el primer tercio del libro sugeriría abandonarlo, no va a suceder. La trama no ofrece nada nuevo, sé que vi algo similar antes, pero no puedo determinar con precisión dónde. El final es terriblemente predecible, entré con nada más que el título y los patines de la portada, e incluso así ya tenía adivinado el final para el capítulo 5. Así que esta novela no es sobre el final, es una novela sobre el viaje. Y qué viaje fue. Verdaderamente inolvidable. Un lugar en el estante “Perfección”, sólido favorito y posible Top 10. Extremadamente recomendable, para la audiencia correcta. Y no me sorprendería si algún día se convierte en película.

Samantha Kingston is 17 years old and goes to Ridgeview High. She’s one of the most popular girls in school, has the best friends, the hottest boyfriend, and everything she ever wanted. And she is going to die tonight. And tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow...
Stuck in a death loop, Samantha starts to wonder. Is she cursed? Has she say or done anything to deserve this? And most importantly, can she break free? Can you stop Death?
I love the time loop thing, and time travel. Sucker for it, every time. Groundhog’s Day is my ultimate favorite movie of all time, and it’s even mentioned in the book. Sam Kingston is hardly a Regina George, but certainly has enough attitudes to be part of the ‘Plastics’, or ‘Bitches’, however you like to call them.
This novel deals with some important topics like sisterhood, redemption, and bullying. I specially loved this book’s heartfelt take on friendship, veeery misguided friendship on several occasions, but real loving friendship nonetheless. Many endearing moments and lovely quotes to remember. Izzy and Kent were awesome. Slow burn was spectacular. The ending was fairly predictable, but the uplifting trip to get there was absolutely more than worth it.
Time thing makes me undulate. I’m not sure if this is a great book per se, but it really was a great book for me. Unputdownable. Fav status earned. If you like any of the movies listed above, I’m pretty confident you should like it.

Samantha Kingston tiene 17 años y va a la secundaria Ridgeview. Es una de las chicas mas populares de la escuela, tiene las mejores amigas, el novio más atractivo y todo lo que ella quiere. Y va a morir esta noche. Y mañana. Y el día siguiente a mañana…
Atrapada en un círculo de muerte, Sam empieza a preguntarse. Está maldita? Dijo o hizo algo para merecer esto? Y aún más importante, acaso puede liberarse? Se puede detener a la Muerte?
Amo lo del círculo infinito, y viaje a través del tiempo. Caigo a pleno con ello, siempre. El Día de la Marmota es mi absoluta película preferida de todos los tiempos, e incluso es mencionada en el libro. Sam Kingston está lejos de ser una Regina George, pero ciertamente tiene suficientes actitudes para ser parte del grupo de las ‘Plásticas’, o ‘Perras’, como te guste llamarlas.
Esta novela trata con importantes tópicos como hermandad, redención y bullying. Amé especialmente la sentida forma en que esta novela trata la amistad, amistad muuuy mal direccionada en varias ocasiones, pero amistad real y amorosa sin embargo. Muchos momentos entrañables y preciosas citas para recordar. Izzy y Kent fueron terriblemente adorables. El ardor lento fue espectacular. El final es bastante predecible, pero el viaje inspirador para llegar hasta ahí más que valió la pena.
Lo del tiempo me hace ondular. No estoy seguro de que este sea un gran libro en sí mismo, pero fue un gran libro para mí. No podía dejar de leerlo. Un lugar en Favoritos ganado. Si te gusta alguna de las películas mencionadas arriba, estoy bastante seguro que podrías disfrutarlo.

Meg’s brother Charles Wallace is being bullied at school, and he’s developing an incurable disease. A malign influence is stirring around the Murry family, and the life of little Charles Wallace may be at stake, and possibly the whole universe.
From far away distant planets to the inside of cellular mitochondria; Meg, Calvin and Proginoskes fight the evil Echthroi, trying to save Charles Wallace’s life, and restore peace and harmony to the universe before it’s too late.
This was one weird reading; overall ok, but not especially remarkable, or recommendable. It was certainly interesting up to a certain point, with a few memorable moments to remember by. Quite enjoyed Mr. Jenkins conversion process, and the fantastic journey to the land of the Farandolae, home of invisible entities that bind the universe together (Midi-chlorians?). Sadly, the rest of the book was mostly boring, and kind of preachy. I think most of that sweet candor and warm tenderness that resonated so strongly with me in the first book was missing in this one.
A sequel that in essence couldn’t live up to its wonderful start, and can be read as a standalone, since though the characters remain the same, the events or #1 barely have any consequence in this new installment. Maybe even skippable? Can’t tell since I haven’t finished the series yet; but plan to, someday.

A storm presages the dangers to come. The Darkness, the evil Black Thing threatens to swallow the Earth and everyone in it, among other worlds and universes already corrupted by its malevolent presence. Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin, a fellow schoolmate, embark on a desperate mission through several worlds to try to find their lost father, and, maybe, just maybe, save a small part of the universe.
An enjoyable read, simple, endearing, and weird! Not exactly recommendable, but good enough to hold interest. The first of five moderately short books.

In this novel we learn the story of two little odd birds. "Eleanor", fire redhead, awkwardly dressed, wide. "Park", weird, silent, asian. Two little school misfits slowly getting to know each other during the everyday bus ride to school. From an annoyed greeting insult, to an incomprehensible unconditional love.
Beautiful YA novel, bestseller, moderately short. A pretty safe bet for anyone who enjoys the Young Adult genre. A lot of beautiful endearing moments to remember, and some very funny bits too, with a special sarcastic humor. A novel that brings the remembrance of youth and the miracle of that first love, and all the fears and emotions that it carried.
Highly recommendable, although with a warning regarding the ending.

Desde un irritado insulto inicial, hasta un incomprendido amor incondicional.
Bellísima novela YA, bestseller, medianamente corta. Una apuesta bastante segura para cualquiera que disfrute del género Joven Adulto.. Muchos hermosos y cálidos momentos para el recuerdo, y algunas partes graciosas, con ese estilo de humor sarcástico especial. Una novela que nos recuerda la juventud y ese milagro del primer amor, y todos los miedos y emociones que ello significa.

In this novel we learn the story of "Starr Carter", a young african american girl who lives in the poor and dangerous suburbs of Garden Hights, and one of the only color people in a privileged school. One fateful night, after leaving a party, she and a friend are stopped in a random police vehicle stop. A death will change young Starr's life forever, and, ultimately, the life of everyone in her neighborhood.
A very, very memorable read, with a lot of moments and quotes to remember. A novel that faithfully depictures the vicissitudes of living as an afro-american minority, the racial prejudices, discrimination and the failings of a system designed to create racial injustices.
**** The movie is an very good book-to-film adaptation. As always, differences were noticed and some depth was lost, but even still it keeps a very faithful representation of the book. Amandla Stenberg delivers a very powerful performance, truly remarkable. Little Rue has grown up.

Una lectura muy, muy memorable, con muchos momentos y frases para el recuerdo. Una novela que refleja fielmente las vicisitudes de vivir como una minoría afroamericana, los prejucios raciales, la discriminación y las fallas de un sistema diseñado para provocar injusticias sociales.
**** La película es una muy buena adaptación del libro. Como siempre se pierde cierta profundidad y existen algunas diferencias, pero se mantiene muy fiel al espíritu de la obra. Amandla Stenberg hace un papel muy poderoso, realmente destacable. La pequeña Rue ha crecido.

¿Era este ‘libro’ realmente necesario? No estoy seguro. Muchos dicen que todo esto estaba levemente implícito en el final de Leal. Yo no lo vi.
Parte de mi está agradecido porque esto en verdad curó una parte de mí que quedó terriblemente dañada después del final de Leal. Otra parte de mí está asqueada por el hecho que escuché que esta pequeña adición fue ofrecida sólo exclusivamente para aquellos que pre compraban el primer libro de la nueva serie de Roth ‘Carve the Mark’, con la intención de incrementar las ventas. Que movida traicionera.

Four has been working steadily for two years as an instructor now, gathering clues about the secret dealings between Dauntless and Er All The Feels.
Four has been working steadily for two years as an instructor now, gathering clues about the secret dealings between Dauntless and Erudite, while keeping contact with Evelyn. It all changes when a new initiate enters with the new year’s litter; a stiff from Abnegation, called Beatrice Prior, or “Tris”.
By far the better of all the entries. In this last installment we pretty much get to see everything that transpires within the first book of Divergent; from the beginning of the training, until the escape from Dauntless, but through the eyes of Four. How Tris came into his life, (view spoiler)[the training, the fear scenarios, their closeness (hide spoiler)], and how they saved each other.
Aw! It was so incredibly stirring to see Tris again, especially after the ending of Allegiant! All the feels.

Cuatro se ha estado desempeñando como instructor establemente durante dos años, reuniendo pistas sobre los tratos secretos entre Osadía y Erudición, manteniendo mientras contacto con Evelyn. Todo cambia cuando entra una nueva iniciada con la camada del nuevo año; una estirada de Abnegación, llamada Beatrice Prior, o “Tris”.
Por lejos la mejor de todas las partes. En esta última entrega podemos ver prácticamente todo lo que sucede en el primer libro de Divergente; desde el inicio del entrenamiento, hasta la huida de Osadía, pero a través de los ojos de Cuatro. Cómo Tris llegó a su vida, (view spoiler)[el entrenamiento, los escenarios de los miedos, su cercanía (hide spoiler)] y cómo se salvaron mutuamente.
¡Ay! Fue increíblemente estremecedor volver a ver a Tris, ¡especialmente después del final de Leal! Todo el sentimiento.

Percy Jackson, Thalia and Nico are summoned to the Underworld in hopes of recovering the stolen Sword of Hades, a weapon that could potentially turn the tides of the incoming war, especially if it reaches the hands of the evil Kronos.
This was an entertaining little short story. It was great to see Thalia and Nico again, however briefly. The three snarky demigods making a great team and fighting back to back protecting each other. An action packed adventure with fights against many monsters, and the appearance of some gods like Hades and Persephone; and some old and new antagonists (view spoiler)[Ethan and Iapetus, the Titan of Mortality (I mean Bob!) (hide spoiler)]
This short story is part of 4.5 The Demigod Files.

Este fue un entretenido cuento corto. Fue maravilloso ver a Thalia y Nico de nuevo, aunque fuera tan brevemente. Los tres picarescos semidioses haciendo un gran equipo peleando de espalda a espalda y protegiéndose el uno al otro. Una aventura cargada de acción con batallas contra varios monstruos, y la aparición de algunos dioses como Hades y Perséfone; y algunos viejos y nuevos antagonistas (view spoiler)[Ethan y Jápeto, el Titán de la Mortalidad (¡Quiero decir Bob!)
