We’re thrilled to announce the release of version 1.10 of the ABAP SDK for Google Cloud (on-premises or any cloud edition)! This significant update empowers SAP developers to seamlessly integrate sophisticated Google Cloud capabilities directly within their familiar ABAP environment. Version 1.10 brings major advancements, notably introducing the BigQuery AI and ML SDK for ABAP to leverage AI directly on your BigQuery data from within your applications. Alongside this powerful new capability, the release delivers simplified event-driven integration via the Business Eventing Toolkit, cost-effective content management using Cloud Storage as a content repository, enhanced AI features within the Vertex AI SDK, and broader API access across the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Unlock BigQuery AI/ML directly from ABAP:

Go beyond traditional data warehousing. The new BigQuery AI and ML SDK for ABAP lets you leverage the power of Google Cloud's AI directly on your BigQuery data from within your ABAP applications.

  • Analyze Enterprise Data with Gemini: Use Google's powerful Gemini models to gain insights from your data stored in BigQuery.

  • BigQuery as a Vector Database: Generate and manage embeddings for your BigQuery data, turning it into a cost-effective vector database.
