AI has transformed how we work with information. Its impact on the physical industries that produce our power, fuel, steel, and chemicals is only just beginning. For AI to create value in these environments, it needs reliable data at a scale that people cannot collect by hand. This data cannot simply be downloaded. It has to be collected in the field. This is the challenge we have been working on from the beginning. We have built one of the world’s first legged robots, deployed robots offshore, advanced deep reinforcement learning for walking machines, and certified a legged robot for use in explosive atmospheres. What once seemed impossible is now operating in industrial plants alongside people. We are proudest of the trust behind that progress. ANYmal takes care of routine inspections, so plant teams can focus on the work that requires human experience and judgment. Years of engineering, deployments, and integration have brought us here. We are proud of what our team has achieved, and we are excited about what comes next as we scale this foundation into an autonomous workforce for the industry. The framework is an important step toward building that common understanding and strengthening trust, while still giving companies the freedom to innovate and differentiate. Say hello to Lysia 👋 That’s the name EUROLYSINE gave to their ANYmal robot, now up and running on site. Eurolysine’s 40-hectare production site is located in Amiens, France. As the only Europe-based producer of amino acids by fermentation, energy efficiency is a key priority for the site. Lysia is helping the team track down leaks, inspect areas that are harder to reach, and collect data close to the equipment. As teammates on site, ANYmal robots help people do their work more safely and with better visibility.
