AES Section Report The AES Austria Section meeting in late 2025 was tied to a special event: The Austrian audio company Lewitt invited audio professionals to a release party for their latest plugin: Space Replicator. The plug-in can be used to create various acoustic environments - from studios to clubs to complex sound systems – in a comparable and reproducible manner. Such virtualization of rooms allows mixes to be “test-heard” in, for example, the next concert location. Measurements for the plugin were taken in collaboration with the Institute for Sound Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz.
