We loved spending time with the team at OWL Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics for a Lunch & Learn focused on whole-child care and collaboration. We’re grateful for opportunities to connect with other providers who value supporting children through a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach — from feeding and oral function to movement and development. 🤍
Recently, we had the opportunity to welcome Amy Stumpf MS CCC-SLP/L, IBCLC and Lisa Wood, PT, DPT, C2 from BDI Playhouse to OWL Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics for a Lunch & Learn focused on myofunctional therapy, physical therapy, and craniosacral therapy. I value connecting with professionals who also recognize that the mouth is more than “just teeth.” So many of the concerns we see in children — crowding, high palates, mouth breathing, tongue posture, feeding challenges, and facial development — are connected to overall function and growth. Collaborative conversations like these are incredibly valuable because they allow us to continue learning from one another and better support children through a more comprehensive, whole-child approach to care. Grateful for providers who are passionate about thoughtful, interdisciplinary care and for opportunities to continue growing together. Thank you Jill C.
