New week - new story from us! A Monorepo That Finally Built! Complex Turborepo failed on every PaaS. BUT! DollarDeploy’s AI auto-configured the build. Worked first try. A fintech team had their frontend, backend, and shared packages in a Turborepo monorepo. Every platform they tried—Vercel, Railway, Amplify—choked on the build configuration. Either the build paths were wrong, dependencies didn't resolve correctly, or they exceeded memory limits during the build. How Self-Hosting Fixed It? DollarDeploy's DevOps AI suggested the correct build configuration by analyzing their repo structure. It identified the right buildPath, sourcePath, and set appropriate memory limits for the build container. The app built on the first try after weeks of failed attempts elsewhere. Complex project structures need flexible build systems. AI-assisted configuration eliminates the guesswork. Worth of trying, right?

Do you want to replace 3 SaaS tools with one server? Self-host with DollarDeploy! Long-running jobs, no limits, no extra SaaS. Run real backend workloads without platform restrictions! The real story of our customer: A two-person startup building a document processing app needed to run heavy PDF generation and email sending in the background. On Vercel, they hit the 60-second function timeout constantly. The "solution" was adding Trigger.dev ($50/month) and Resend ($20/month) just to work around platform limits. Self-Hosting Fixed It! They deployed to their own server where there are no timeout limits. They set up BullMQ with Redis (one-click install on DollarDeploy) and now run background jobs that take 5+ minutes without any external services. Their architecture went from a patchwork of third-party tools to a self-contained system. When your app needs queues, scheduled tasks, or long-running processes, self-hosting removes the artificial constraints that push you toward expensive add-ons!

We've been busy with the new release. We're constantly coming up with new ways to make our platform easier and more intuitive. We've collected some interesting stories from our clients and would like to share them with you. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. "My Vercel bill hit $800 after a bot attack" A solo founder building an AI writing tool got a nasty surprise. His side project went semi-viral, but most of the traffic came from aggressive scraping bots. Vercel's pay-per-request model meant his bill exploded overnight—$800 for traffic that wasn't even real users. But we Fixed It! He moved to a $10/month Hetzner server managed through DollarDeploy. The server has a 20TB bandwidth cap and predictable fixed costs. When bots hit now, the worst case is the server gets temporarily slow— not a four-figure invoice. His Next.js app runs exactly the same, but his monthly costs dropped from unpredictable hundreds to a flat $15 (server + DollarDeploy). Serverless is great until it isn't. Hard-capped pricing protects you from surprise bills, whether from viral success or rogue crawlers. Well, how about it? Interested? Write to us! Try it and you'll like it!

𝐌𝐂𝐏 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 We are building something pretty cool for DollarDeploy - MCP server integration that lets you manage your entire infrastructure through AI chat. The idea is simple: instead of jumping between dashboards and CLI tools, you just... talk to Claude or ChatGPT about what you need. ⚡ "Spin up a new server with Docker and nginx" - done. 💬 "Why is my deployment failing?" - it checks logs and tells you. 🚀 "Deploy my app to production" - handles it. Works for both deployment-time issues and runtime debugging. No more digging through logs at 3am trying to figure out why something broke. #MCP #AI #CloudInfrastructure #DevOps

Thank you Marina Rush for being with us this summer 💫 We’re really proud of you and the great energy you brought to the team as well as the amazing work you did! 🚀
𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓? My summer was very eventful and active. When you love that you are doing, every day feels like vacation. 😎 1. Excellent progress in improving mobile views and responsive UI (I love doing this!) 2. We found a surprising bug in how Google Chrome and Safari auto-translate works and fixed that in record time. Turns out many our users use Google Translate on DollarDeploy. 3. Improving dashboards, writing new functional React components. 4. Release management - publishing and sending release notes to our users. 5. Good progress in English Now I am excited for next half of the year with a plan for more studies! 💯 Want to know more about? DollarDeploy reposted this
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝑼𝑰 𝒂𝒕 𝑫𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒓𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚 ⭐ Ever since our launch🚀 in March, we noticed that quite often our users check and manage their apps from the mobile📱, to make sure their apps and servers are working properly or deploy new changes on the go. According to our analytics, at least 20% of users sometimes use a mobile (Android or iPhone) to go to the DollarDeploy dashboard. Because of that, I was assigned a task to improve the responsive UI for our app. Since we are using Tailwind CSS, it is very easy to do, I just need to specify mobile view utility classes, in addition to the already defined ones for the desktop. What made the experience even better? I worked fully remotely, on my own schedule, from wherever I wanted 🫶 . And the best part — my pull request is already live in production. On to the next one! 📈 #ResponsiveDesign #frontend #React #juniorDeveloper #UI #TailwindCSS #Mobile #StartUpLife #CodeSleepRepeat

We are live on ProductHunt https://lnkd.in/dj_36mhV What an incredible day! We completely missed that you can not launch on ProductHunt on the same day anymore. But ProductHunt team was so kind to make an exception for us 👍
