Our teams are using 3D printing to solve manufacturing challenges faster, safer and more efficiently from creating custom replacement parts in-house to designing tools that improve operator safety and reduce downtime. At our Muskogee, Oklahoma and Brewton, Alabama facilities, employees are turning ideas into real solutions that save time, lower costs and improve reliability. Last week, I joined fellow Atlanta leaders to build homes -- and we built so much more. At the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project with Habitat for Humanity, we volunteered five days in Langston Park helping build 24 homes -- opening the door to stability, opportunity, and a place families can call their own. I was especially grateful to be alongside David J. Neal and Curley Dossman from Georgia-Pacific LLC -- great partners in this effort and in our broader commitment to the communities we serve. Since stepping into my role at GP, this kind of work has been especially meaningful. There’s something powerful about showing up, working together, and being reminded that a home is where everything begins to take shape. You could feel it across every build site -- in the teamwork, the shared purpose, and the pride in every wall raised. A simple but important reminder: when we come together, we can make a real difference. GP has long been a proud supporter of Habitat, and this experience only reinforced why. Grateful to everyone who made it possible -- and to the 24 families who will soon be welcomed home.

John steps into the new leadership role as Sheila Weidman, senior vice president of communications, government and public affairs, has decided to retire after 38 years of contributions to the company.
