  • Maintask is heading to ChainCamp 2026. ₿ As a Salesforce and HubSpot partner that accepts Bitcoin, we’re proud to support one of the original Bitcoin conferences in the Czech Republic this year. If you’re into Bitcoin, privacy, cybersecurity, or just want to meet people building in this space, ChainCamp is a pretty good place to be. Friday takes a broader PLAN B angle, and Saturday is fully Bitcoin-focused. Two of our own will also be part of the program: 🪙 Ted Kubena — will be speaking about the history of the Czech student Bitcoin movement 🛡️ Bader Zaidan — will be diving into cybersecurity, privacy, and how to stay safer online And throughout the event, you’ll also be able to find the Maintask team at our stand. Stop by, say hi, and chat with us about Salesforce, HubSpot, AI enablement, cybersecurity, or Bitcoin. 📍 ChainCamp 2026, Ostrava 📅 September 11–12 Joining at ChainCamp? • Already preparing your Salesforce org for Winter ’27? Make sure you’re preparing for the right things. 👀 The official notes now list 5 Release Updates enforced with Winter ’27. One of them requires users authenticating through SOAP login() to have the Use Any API Auth permission. At the same time, Salesforce canceled the Adopt Authorized Email Domains update and postponed the OAuth username-password flow retirement to February 20, 2027. The quieter changes may matter more: 🔐 Profile Filtering Users without View All Profiles will see only their own profile name. Test approvals, reports, Flows, and custom components as real users. ⚙️ Flow record locking Flows can now wait and retry when a record is locked. That may prevent errors, but it can change transaction timing. 🧩 Apex heap limits Code may pass in an upgraded sandbox and still fail while production remains on Summer ’26 limits. 🔌 Integrations Test SOAP authentication and check for standard-volume platform events, which retire on December 15, 2026. 💚 NPSP teams Winter ’27 introduces no NPSP retirement or migration deadline. Eligible Agentforce orgs, however, are being enabled for the Agentforce Platform on a rolling basis. Our guide covers the key dates, nonprofit impact, integration risks, retirements, and a practical testing checklist 👇 https://lnkd.in/d5ZYqHfA #Salesforce #SalesforceAdmin #SalesforceRelease #NonprofitTech #NPSP

🧲 The HubSpot-Salesforce connector is easy to install. The hard part starts after that. Marketing trusts what it sees in HubSpot. Sales trusts what it sees in Salesforce. That’s usually when teams realize the connector itself was only part of the job. The native HubSpot-Salesforce connector can solve a lot, but only if the setup is planned before the sync goes live: field ownership, sync rules, inclusion segments, validation rules, and testing before the full database starts moving. We put together a practical guide to integrating HubSpot with Salesforce, including what the connector syncs, how field mapping works, common mistakes to avoid, and when the native connector may not be enough. https://lnkd.in/dUbBfzNR #Salesforce #HubSpot #CRM #RevOps

  • Most Salesforce orgs can't explain why half their users have the access they have 🔐 It rarely starts as a problem. Someone needs access fast. You grant a quick exception. It works. Then the exception never gets removed. People change roles but keep old permissions. Former team structures stay frozen in the role hierarchy. That's security debt. And it compounds quietly until a new admin inherits an org that works technically, but nobody understands. And the fix isn't a cleanup project. It's getting the layers right: → Profiles set the baseline — keep them broad and stable, not one per access variation → Permission Sets add the extras — modular, named, easy to remove → Roles control which records people see, not what they can do → Field-level security protects sensitive fields like donor giving or financials — and no, hiding a field on the page layout does not secure it → Org-Wide Defaults come first — roles can't fix a model that's already public read/write ⚠️ One honest limit: this is never "set and forget." Access needs a real review on a schedule: → inactive users → anyone with Modify All Data → permission sets quietly assigned to dozens of people Quarterly is a good starting point. We wrote up the full access model — every layer, the 8 most common mistakes, and a review checklist you can run yourself: https://lnkd.in/dSHyPM9h #Salesforce #SalesforceAdmin #CRM #NonprofitTech #DataSecurity

  • Have you seen the biggest risk in Salesforce Summer ’26? 👀 It’s assuming the “small” changes won’t affect your org. Summer ’26 is a maturity and maintenance release. No headline feature, just dozens of little tweaks. Some of them can quietly break things if you don’t test before rollout. 🔐 Apex API v67.0 — changes key security defaults. Database operations now run in user mode by default, so upgraded code can return fewer rows or behave differently if access was not properly reviewed. ⚙️ Flow — new Date operators in Decisions, better reliability for Email Template references across deployments, Data Table lookup links, Radio Button Group, collapsible fault paths, Scheduled Flow batching, and Element Error Rate visibility from the list view. 👁 Admins — get better visibility with Field Access in Object Manager and permission dependency details before saving profile changes. ⚠️ Release Updates and retirements need attention — the areas with the highest risk of production surprises include SAML migration, X Auth Provider retirement, Blob.toPdf() output changes, Standard Omni-Channel, and Salesforce to Salesforce. If you want to avoid last-minute surprises, we covered the dates, what to test, and a pre-production checklist in the full article. • Brno, another Maintask Meetup! 🚀 The Brno Salesforce community came together once again last week, and it keeps getting better every time. 🤝 Our first speaker, Stepan Ruzicka, walked us through how to implement AI into the Salesforce lifecycle and shared practical examples of how Claude AI 🤖can support not only Salesforce-related tasks, but everyday work in general. Then, ours truly Bader Zaidan took us into the world of API security 🔐, highlighting common authentication mistakes and why getting security right from the start really matters both for developers and for the businesses relying on these systems. The next meetup is planned for August — follow along so you don’t miss it! 🔔 #Maintask #SalesforceCommuntiy #Salesforce #SalesforceAdmin #MeetUp #AI #Claude #Brno

💰Time is money And if you're using Salesforce but still creating documents manually,  you're probably losing more of it than you think. Export data → copy into Word → fix formatting → send And then do it again next time. It doesn’t seem like a big deal at first. But it adds up really fast. Most of the time, Salesforce already has everything needed to automate this - it’s just not set up. 🛠️ A simple way to fix it is to use tools like Docs Made Easy by HIC Global Solutions, which let you generate documents directly from Salesforce records. We put together a short guide that shows how to set it up 👇  https://lnkd.in/dD7k6x9G

  • Brno, our first Meetup of the year, is officially done! 🚀 Last week, we kicked off together with reunions, new faces, and plenty of great energy. What started as a simple Thursday gathering turned into a fun, motivating evening full of networking. Our first speaker, Blanka Doktorová, walked us through Revenue Cloud and gave us the real story: what's the buzz actually about, and how does it really differ from CPQ? Spoiler: it's more nuanced than you'd think. Then, Filip Boštík took us on a journey into Development Extensions and the often-overlooked costs of "free tools." Turns out, free doesn't always mean cost-free.😅 We’re already looking forward to the next one in April. Follow along so you don't miss it! 🔔 #Maintask #SalesforceCommuntiy #Salesforce #SalesforceAdmin #MeetUp
