What happens when you challenge cross-functional teams to get their hands on the latest AI tools to dream big, or make a cumbersome task 10X faster? Bold, design-forward innovation. Last week, we hosted the 2026 Minted Hackathon, powered by AI. This year, we challenged everyone in the company - not just our technical teams - to participate, using AI tools or AI-assisted coding to build solutions, improve processes, learn, and explore. We were blown away by the creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking ideas that our teams came up with. 1/3 of our employees participated, including functions you wouldn't normally think of as technical. We had fun learning and building. We built our collective confidence that anyone in the company can use AI to make our work better. We had more than 40 teams present hacks - our largest Hackathon ever! And many of those projects are immediately being put to use to improve our day-to-day work.
