If your WordPress site is live, its login page is already being targeted.     Not occasionally. Right now. Bots run leaked username and password lists against /wp-admin/ and /wp-login/ around the clock. SSL encrypts the connection, but it does not tell browsers what they are allowed to do on your page.     That’s where security headers come in: short instructions your server sends with every response. Visitors never see them. You've turned on SSL. Your site shows HTTPS.  Good, that's the starting point, not the finish line.     Here's what most site owners forget to do next.
