Some milestones are measured in numbers, others are measured in growth. As our project continues reaching major milestones, I've also been working toward one personally, continuing my MBA at Eastern Kentucky University while leading and supporting HSE on the projects. Balancing the two isn't always easy. There are plenty of evenings when the workday ends and the school day begins. But I've also realized that professional development is rarely an individual effort. I'm fortunate to work alongside a project leadership team that understands the value of cohesiveness, challenges one another, and continues working toward the same objective even when we approach problems from different perspectives. I'm equally grateful to be part of our Rosendin Energy Group that supports continued learning and professional development, and for leaders who encourage me to keep growing, both as a safety professional and as a leader. The MBA is teaching me plenty in the classroom. This project continues teaching me just as much in the field. Different classrooms. Same goal. And for anyone working toward something of their own, don't give up. Keep pushing forward. Don't allow yourself to become stagnant. Growth doesn't always happen quickly, and the path isn't always easy, but keep moving. If you're willing to keep putting in the work, you may be surprised by just how far you can go. Keep learning.
