Scouting fosters the social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of young people.

About us

Scouting is a growing world wide youth movement with over 40 million members, 7,000 of those in SA. Scouts SA understand that successful young people need to develop resilience through a strong supportive network (#friends4life) and a range of activities developed to motivate and challenge the individual. Learning life skills, growing in self confidence and gaining valuable leadership and team skills are all part of the Scout program. Our program is delivered by Nationally accredited trained leaders in safe, supported, adventurous environments. • Scouting Qualities: Confidence😎 Scouts take the lead, face challenges head-on, and get creative when solving problems. By embracing these opportunities, every member develops self-confidence and self-belief. With this positive attitude, they become more assertive, thrive when working with others, and have the courage to lead when needed. Self-confidence is priceless. At Scouts, we provide each member with the tools to empower and strengthen their confidence. Ready to boost your confidence?
