  • Gartner® has a specific term for an AI system that time-stamps, versions, and logs every action it takes: output integrity. Squirro is cited under that label in Gartner®'s latest governance brief on AI guardrails, one of 15 Gartner® reports the platform appears in across the first half of 2026. Seven of those cite Squirro for retrieval augmented generation or GraphRAG, three specifically for GraphRAG, spanning Hype Cycles in banking, government, and enterprise applications. The pattern across all fifteen: it's no longer about whether an AI system can produce a plausible-sounding answer. It's whether it can be trusted, audited, and run at scale inside a regulated environment. Read the full breakdown: https://lnkd.in/eV_nr458

  • A 200-question security questionnaire lands on a bid manager's desk Friday, due Monday. The answer already exists somewhere in a winning proposal your team wrote last quarter, it's the system that can't find it in time. Most organizations never chose their retrieval architecture, they inherited it, bundled into a suite or scattered across silos. Gartner is tracking the fix directly: a market moving from $2.9B in 2025 to $4.1B by 2028. Here's what actually closes the gap. 👇

  • A supervisor asks a compliance analyst a simple question: what are the notification obligations under DORA for a specific ICT outsourcing arrangement, and does internal policy already cover it. The answer exists. It's just split across a regulatory database, a shared drive, and a policy memo, and confirming all three are still current takes longer than anyone budgets for. Then comes the question that follows later: not just what the answer is, but whether the analyst can prove how they reached it. This blog lays out why keyword search and static repositories tend to lose that second part, and where the fix compounds well past the first use case. • A 200-question security questionnaire lands on a bid manager's desk Friday afternoon, due Monday. Every answer already exists, scattered across a dozen proposals already reviewed, approved, and proven to win business. The instinct is to fix this with a better content library: a cleaner folder, tighter tags. That still depends on someone finding the right answer under deadline, and a folder has no memory of which of two similar answers actually closed the deal. Ranking retrieval by outcome instead of recency changes that: the answer that already won a near-identical deal surfaces first, not the one that happened to lose. The RFP & Proposal Response Agent runs on that same logic, so the draft your architects refine already starts from what has won before. Same foundation the rest of the Squirro Agent Catalog runs on. How many senior hours did your team lose to this last quarter? https://lnkd.in/eqN6K7Yq

  • 👉 In this edition of the newsletter: Most stalled AI programs fail for one of two opposite reasons. One team buys the platform first, then goes looking for a problem to solve with it. Another solves a real need each time, but shares no infrastructure between projects, so every project after the first costs just as much as the one before it. The programs that hold up ask one question before greenlighting the next: will this leave something the next need can reuse. Which failure sounds more familiar: the platform with no problem, or the tools with no shared foundation?

  • A portfolio company recovered $300k a year in CPI adjustments after automating contract enforcement. That's the kind of result that's hard to reach with traditional reporting, which often lags weeks or months behind what's actually happening across a portfolio. Each PortCo runs its own systems, and the parent firm typically sees performance well after the fact. An auditable agent framework closes that gap. Agents connect directly into how each PortCo operates, its ERP, its ticketing queue, its contracts, with every prompt and decision logged, so nothing autonomous happens without a trail your CIO or CISO can stand behind. • Compliance teams don't have a content problem. They have a trust problem: can the answer be found fast, and can it be proven when someone asks. Most compliance tracking tools solve the first half. A keyword search returns a list of documents and calls it done. It can't tell you a supervisory circular has quietly modified the regulation underneath it, and it keeps no record of how the analyst got from question to answer. That gap stays invisible until an examination, when someone asks the one question that matters: how did you arrive at this? • Your AI vendor confirms the data is hosted in the EU. That sounds like the sovereignty question is answered. It isn't. Under the US CLOUD Act, a provider headquartered in the US can still be compelled to hand that data over, even while it sits on a European server the whole time. Hosting location is one of six questions that actually decide whether an AI deployment is sovereign. This edition of the Squirro newsletter covers what the other five are, and where a European central bank landed on the same conclusion, independently. ->

  • Same use case. Same vendor shortlist. Three CISOs made three different deployment calls. One went fully on-premises for maximum control. The build took eight months instead of three, and the platform still works today, just further behind than it should be. One moved straight to standard SaaS. Live in weeks, everyone pleased, until legal found out where the contract data had actually been going. No breach. Just an uncomfortable call with outside counsel. The third didn't start with a posture at all. The full blog breaks down what she did differently, and why hers is the one that scales: https://lnkd.in/eGtsW25j Which of the three sounds like your organization right now? #EnterpriseAI #CISO #DataSovereignty

Two funds look at the same hundred targets this year. Similar capital. Similar mandates. Same intermediaries returning the same calls. Five years on, one fund's returns pull meaningfully ahead of the other's. The deals were identical. The selection wasn't. The real ceiling isn't capital. It's how many targets a team can actually get to the bottom of before deciding. Real conviction on one target means pulling data rooms, IC memos, due diligence files, and post-close reports out of scattered systems. Today, that's two weeks. Per target. "Efficiency becomes a selection advantage, and selection is the part of the return that compounds." Our deal research and origination agent builds a full view of each target against deals your fund has already closed, surfacing comparables through a knowledge graph instead of a keyword search. The investment committee still makes the call. It's one of three private equity agents in Squirro's Agent Catalog: 13 ready-to-deploy agents in total, each one built to reuse what the last agent already set up.
