As patients and visitors cross the skybridge at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, they're now greeted by a collection of larger-than-life portraits celebrating the people who help keep the hospital running every day. The exhibit, *Unsung Heroes*, was created by six recent Skyview High School graduates and features employees and volunteers from across the medical center, including nurses, physicians, security staff, spiritual care, administrative teams, specialists and even Lucy, a 15-year-old service dog. Inspired by the global Inside Out Project, the exhibit uses art and storytelling to shine a light on the many people whose work often happens behind the scenes but makes a lasting impact on patients, families and colleagues. We're grateful to the Skyview High students for their creativity and to the employees and volunteers who make Legacy Salmon Creek such a special place to receive and provide care. The exhibit will be on display through the end of the year. Read more in The Columbian: https://bit.ly/4xNttRO Photo credit: Taylor Balkom/The Columbian
