We are proud to partner with Leica Camera AG to open its newest flagship location on North Michigan Ave in Chicago, Illinois. This two story historic building, once home to the Perkins Fellow & Hamilton Architects, covers over 5000 sq ft and includes their full retail collection, a VIP area, lounge space for the video line, and the entire second floor as a loft photo gallery showcasing photography with Leica equipment all coming together to create an immersive destination for customers and Leica fans alike. The space features custom millwork packages, custom lighting throughout, and a swath of natural light on both floors. We'd like to give a special thanks to Emma Nishimoto, Sachse Construction, Lawrence Group, CMTA, Inc., Jetsen Design and many others. Also special shoutout to Bret Curry for these amazing photos!

Artist House is a state-of-the-art recording facility in downtown Manhattan designed to support creativity, collaboration, and world-class audio production. Wesbuilt was proud to partner with the project team to bring this unique space to life, delivering an environment tailored to the needs of artists, producers, and creators at the highest level. This highly technical project transformed the 2nd and 4th floors of 60 Charlton Street in Hudson Square into 20,000 SF of acoustically perfected studios and premium support spaces. The new facility includes: 🔷 13 studios of varying sizes 🔷 6 offices 🔷 Lounge and concourse areas 🔷 Pantry and break room Our scope included full architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and sprinkler upgrades — all executed with the precision required for a professionally calibrated recording environment. Working closely with the project’s acoustic engineering and sound design consultants, Wesbuilt delivered a meticulously constructed space that meets the highest standards of performance. “Service is black and white, but hospitality is color.” Our team recently attended The Summit, an intimate, personalized, practical training workshop led by Will Guidara and his team. A favorite takeaway from Will's book, Unreasonable Hospitality, centers around lessons on client experience and leadership. What stood out most was the intentionality and personalization behind every detail — from arriving to hotel rooms stocked with snacks and water to thoughtfully planned guest experiences throughout the event. It was a reminder that meaningful hospitality is created through proactive communication, thoughtful details, and going beyond what’s expected. Today, Austin Regional Clinic: ARC opened its 37th clinic in Central Texas, ARC South Specialty. The free-standing clinic is part of ARC South Medical Campus in South Austin, which provides a comprehensive selection of specialty, primary, and surgical care services at one campus location. ARC South Specialty offers 12 specialty services provided by 36 physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs). The new building will also be home to ARC’s second outpatient surgery center, ARC Surgery Center South, opening this summer. “The opening of ARC South Specialty as part of ARC South Medical Campus is an important milestone for ARC, offering patients in South Austin access to more specialty, primary, and surgical care in one centralized location,” said Anas Daghestani, MD, ARC President and CEO. “The clinic furthers ARC’s mission to meet the growing need for coordinated, comprehensive, and accessible health care in South Austin and beyond.” Special thanks to the principals of the project, Rogers-O'Brien Construction (contracting) and the Lawrence Group (architecture), for bringing this special facility to life! KU School of Architecture & Design played a defining role in my journey. It’s where I built lifelong friends, met future cofounders, and began shaping the foundation for what would eventually become Lawrence Group, New + Found, and Integrate Construction Partners. I'm truly honored to deliver the commencement speech at the Class of 2026 graduation this past weekend. What has always stayed with me is that education doesn’t end at graduation. This industry is built on curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. This mindset has guided me throughout my career, and it’s one I hope this next generation carries forward. Over the years, it has been incredibly rewarding to stay connected to KU by supporting students as they begin their own careers through mentorship, internships, and opportunities across our firms. Investing in emerging talent is one of the most important ways we can strengthen the future of our industry. Congratulations to the recent graduates.
