We are thrilled to welcome Duchman Family Winery as one of our featured Texas Wineries! Founded 20 years ago by Drs. Lisa and Stan Duchman, Duchman Family Winery has been one of Texas’ first pioneers of Italian grape varieties. Duchman sources its grapes from the Texas High Plains where cooler temperatures and a more continental climate is ideal for Vermentino, Trebbiano, Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Montepulciano and Aglianico. Over the past 10 years, Duchman has added other grapes to its portfolio including Roussanne, Albariño, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Winemaker Dave Reilly, who started as a cellar rat and took the helm as winemaker in 2008, strives to make wines that are true to their varietal character using the highest quality grapes grown only in Texas. His collaboration with and respect for growers comes through loud and clear in his Grape Growers White and Red Blends, which are handcrafted using the best grapes from his vineyard partners. https://lnkd.in/gyCanmAH

We are thrilled to welcome Pedernales Cellars as one of our featured Texas Wineries! Another storied Texas Wine Country family, the Kuhlkens are among the first to plant a vineyard and open a winery in the Texas Hill Country. Some 30 years later, Pedernales Cellars is one of the top wineries in the state with a reputation for making exceptional, 100% Texas-grown Spanish and Rhone-style wines – with sustainability top of mind. In 2005, their children David and Julie began plans for what would become Pedernales Cellars. Grown from the success of Kuhlken Vineyards, they decided to build a boutique winery focused on handcrafted, small-lot wines, working with varieties that thrive in the rugged Texas Hill Country terrain. https://lnkd.in/gyCanmAH
