We tell powerful stories.

About us

The way people communicate is constantly evolving. While our foundation and company history is rooted in traditional public relations, we also understand the need to reach people where they are. Our PR strategies go beyond conventional media relations and oftentimes become a collaborative force with other marketing initiatives, especially in the digital world. Instead of remaining a “PR only” agency, we chose to grow with our clients. We expanded and refined our suite of services to meet their needs along the way – and we’re thrilled to bring our expertise to the table. Our agency has grown in size and scope over the years, from a one-woman entrepreneurial venture in 1999 to a successful business where we live our core values every day: always do the right thing, win together as a team, and create happiness and fun. Just like communication is constantly evolving, we’re constantly progressing as an organization so that we can give our best to our clients.

  • Happy 10th anniversary to the best of the best, Kortni Robinson 👏🏻

Today marks Kortni Robinson's 10th anniversary with The Power Group, and it signifies a lot more to me than most people realize. I built this agency intentionally. The culture was intentional, and so was the goal underneath it: to create businesswomen. We are 27 years in now. In the startup and early growth years, people would give us a couple of years and then move on. That was one of the most frustrating parts of building The Power Group. Kortni stayed. That was never lost on me, and it still isn't. What many of you may not now is that Kortni started with us as an intern. (Any Texas Tech fans out there? Guns up. You raised a good one.) Today, she guides and protects our firm as vice president of operations! I always think about the moment when she was in her early 20s and we were driving back from a client meeting. I was in the passenger seat, and I looked over at her and told her exactly what I had noticed: she had the heart of an entrepreneur. Any entrepreneur knows what a rare find that is, someone who cares about the business as much as you do. That is what I love about her. Not only does she embody our vision and mission, but she lives our core values out daily. Her leadership is a real reason this agency is strong today, and a real reason we are set up for the growth ahead. I could not be prouder of her. She has challenged me, supported me, and had my back. Her teammates go to her, and she earned that respect completely on her own. Ten years does not happen by accident. It is two people choosing, over and over, to keep building the same thing. Kortni, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I want to personally congratulate you on 10 years and many more to come. If you know her, today is a great day to tell her congratulations. Please join me in marking this Monday as a really special anniversary. Onward and upward businesswoman!

  • We're always grateful to see our clients recognized for the incredible work they're doing, and even more honored when they recognize the role we've had the privilege to play along the way. In a recent interview with Construction Executive, #PowerClient, NexCourt's founder, Mark Kundysek, reflected on the company's growth, philanthropic impact, and exciting work supporting the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ in North Texas. When asked about receiving the D CEO's Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Award, he shared, "This is the benefit of having a PR firm like The Power Group... One of the things they started doing that I never would've thought of doing is to nominate the company for various awards like this one. So, I have to give 100% of the credit to The Power Group in Dallas." At The Power Group, we believe great work deserves to be seen. It's a privilege to help clients like NexCourt Inc. elevate their stories, earn meaningful recognition, and shine a spotlight on the impact they're making across our communities. Thank you, Mark, for your trust and kind words. We're proud to be part of your journey. Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/g3ue2Ybf
