EN: Our team in Quebec City, Canada, recently had the pleasure of partnering with L’équipe de Collectif Canopée and our neighbors at the INRS - Institut national de la recherche scientifique for a meaningful half‑day of volunteer work focused on environmental impact. Together, we contributed to a local green initiative, planting 90 trees and supporting site preparation efforts to help strengthen biodiversity in our community. As AI and digital demand accelerate, so does the need to rethink how data centers use critical resources like water. Closed-loop cooling is one of the ways we’re doing that. Instead of relying on evaporative systems that consume water every day, closed-loop cooling recirculates water within a sealed system, reusing it again and again while rejecting heat efficiently. The result is a fundamentally different approach to cooling: - A significant reduction in day-to-day water use compared to traditional methods - No routine discharge or continuous water demand - High energy efficiency to support growing AI workloads For customers, this means scalable, high-performance infrastructure. For communities, it means reducing pressure on local water resources without compromising reliability. Water stewardship isn’t a trade-off. At Vantage, we believe strong communities are built by preserving the places and stories that connect generations. We are proud to support restoration efforts at the Judge Eghart House in Port Washington, Wisconsin, helping ensure this historic landmark continues to serve as a resource for education, learning and community pride for years to come. Recent renovations included rebuilding the front porch, reinforcing portions of the foundation, replicating original architectural details, and installing new railings and step assemblies, all completed with great care to preserve the character and history of the home. We recently partnered with The Weitz Company and Michels Corporation to present at Rocket Academy Dual Credit Advanced Technology Center for their Construction Career Day. Students heard about the many career pathways available across the construction industry before taking part in a hands-on building activity focused on communication, planning and problem solving. The day concluded with a panel featuring construction professionals, including Vantage team members Max Shuman and Ryan Simpson, alongside a live drone feed demonstration from our Wisconsin job site showcasing how technology continues to shape the industry. We’re excited to be part of DCN Toronto 2026 on June 9 where Maxime Guévin, our senior vice president & general manager of Canada, will participate in two panel discussions focused on Canada’s digital infrastructure growth and AI-readiness. In the morning, Maxime will join “Canada’s AI Moment: Building the Powerhouse in the North,” a discussion on whether Canada is ready to scale next-generation AI infrastructure and what must align across power, land, interconnection and long-term planning to turn ambition into execution. Later in the day, he will also speak on “From East to the West: Positioning Canada for the Next Wave of Data Centre Growth,” exploring the key drivers shaping investment decisions across the country, from power and land economics to sustainability, talent and policy. We look forward to contributing to the conversations helping define the future of digital infrastructure in Canada and the role the country can play in supporting the next wave of AI and cloud growth.
