  • Electricity demand is growing. But do we really need to build new generation for every new megawatt of demand? On The Energy Gang Podcast, Vistra’s Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer, Stacey Doré, challenges some of the conventional thinking around load growth. Her argument: the near-term challenge isn’t a lack of power. It’s connecting new customers faster and making better use of the generation, storage, and demand flexibility already on the system. The conversation also gets into a bigger question: are competitive or regulated markets better suited to meet the moment? • The next chapter of nuclear energy isn’t only about building new plants. It’s about maximizing output from the plants we already have. At #NECX2026, Vistra Chief Nuclear Officer Ken Peters joined industry leaders to discuss how we can get more from America’s existing nuclear fleet. At Vistra, we’re planning to add 433 MW of generation through uprates at our nuclear plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Moving projects like these forward takes more than investment in the plants themselves. Strong partnerships and long-term power purchase agreements provide the certainty needed to make them possible. With bipartisan support and accelerating electricity demand, the opportunity for existing nuclear is significant: Greater output. Longer operating lives. Reliable power for what comes next.

  • Did you know? Women make up nearly one-third of the U.S. nuclear generation workforce. That includes talented professionals across Vistra's nuclear fleet who are leading teams, sharing expertise, and helping advance the future of nuclear energy. This month, women from all four Vistra nuclear plants joined peers and leaders from across the country at the 2026 U.S. Women in Nuclear (U.S. WIN) National Conference in Seattle. From discussions on workforce development to relicensing and policy, these Vistra team members built valuable industry connections and brought new ideas back to their sites. Reinvigorated and ready for next year! #NuclearEnergy #WomenInNuclear #USWIN2026

  • Every summer, we're reminded that the future of our industry is already getting to work. For the past several weeks, 113 interns representing universities across the U.S. gained hands-on experience across Vistra Corp. From power generation, including 44 interns supporting our nuclear fleet, to retail and corporate teams, they tackled real work, brought fresh ideas, and made meaningful contributions from day one. Our internship program is about more than giving students experience. By developing future leaders and strengthening our talent pipeline, we’re building the workforce that will power our industry for years to come. Thank you to each of our interns for your curiosity, hard work, and willingness to jump in. Your contributions made a difference, and we hope to welcome many of you back again!

  • As summer temperatures rise, strong community partnerships matter. Through Vistra's annual Beat the Heat campaign, our Dynegy team and employees at the Fairless Power Plant partnered with the Bucks County Opportunity Council to provide a $10,000 grant, helping distribute 400 box fans to households across Bucks County, PA. As we continue to grow our presence in the Commonwealth with the addition of the Fairless Power Plant earlier this year, we're building lasting partnerships that strengthen the region. Since 2020, Vistra and Dynegy have invested more than $500,000 across Pennsylvania. Supporting our neighbors isn't a seasonal effort. It's part of our long-term commitment to the communities we serve.

  • Electricity is the lifeblood of modern society. Providing power at the scale and speed customers need brings new approaches and new partnerships. Today, Vistra is proud to join KKR, NVIDIA, and the Kuwait Investment Authority as a founding investor in Helix Digital Infrastructure, a new company backed by more than $10 billion in committed capital to accelerate the deployment of AI infrastructure, with Vistra also serving as Helix's preferred power partner. “Power generation and grid interconnections are critical gating factors for AI infrastructure deployments,” said Jim Burke, president and CEO of Vistra. “Helix brings together data center development, infrastructure, and power capabilities under a single umbrella, providing a one-stop shop for large load customers. By utilizing Vistra’s existing fleet to deliver near-term power, Helix will accelerate delivery of power solutions through the use of existing assets while also bringing additionality with Vistra's best-in-class capabilities, including power generation development and power grid expertise. Vistra has a proven track record in executing more than 5,000 megawatts of power purchase agreements with hyperscalers and looks forward to leveraging our leading and diverse generation fleet and operational expertise as Helix’s preferred power partner to help deliver the reliable, affordable energy these customers require.” #poweringabetterwayforward

⚡Data centers. Power. Connectivity. The AI era demands each of them, at unprecedented scale. Today, they're all too often planned and delivered in siloes. In the AI era, that has become a bottleneck, slowing down the benefits of AI for everyone. Built on KKR’s $100B global infrastructure platform, Helix Digital Infrastructure is launching as a single company that integrates the infrastructure hyperscalers need to power this generational buildout. Led by CEO Adam Selipsky and CIO Waldemar Szlezak, Helix is supported by anchor investments from KKR, Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and Vistra Corp. as founding partners combining long-duration capital, 50GW of power generation, and next-generation technology insight to deliver what no one else can. https://go.kkr.com/49VnujL

  • Some programs last a year. Others become traditions. For more than 25 years, our Beat the Heat program has helped people stay safe during the hottest days of summer. What started as a simple effort to support neighbors in need has become one of our longest-running community programs, reaching families, seniors, and others most vulnerable to extreme heat, year after year. This summer, TXU Energy will once again partner with trusted nonprofit organizations across Texas to: • Distribute more than 5,000 box fans • Provide 600 window air conditioning units • Support community cooling centers • Host more than 30 outreach events across the state Supporting the communities we serve has always been at the heart of Beat the Heat, and we’re proud to continue that commitment this summer.
