I’m hiring a Growth Marketing Design Lead at Zapier. Someone who can: - Build an experimentation engine at the top of our funnel and ship tests weekly.  - Set an AI-first design strategy that ties the creative work to acquisition, conversion, and activation - Own conversion rate optimization from the design side: form the hypothesis, design the experiment, iterate on what the funnel data says (MQLs, CAC, LTV) Fully remote, but priority focus are candidates located in NAMER.  Comp: $191.5K–$287.3K (+ bonus + equity). Thrilled to announce I’m starting a new venture today, AIT Society. Since stepping into the AIT role at Zapier, one thing I’ve wanted was a community of fellow AIT leaders who were leading major initiatives at their company.  I couldn’t find what I needed, so I created it in AIT Society. We had the first small roundtable yesterday with 8 other AIT leaders. The conversation was both electric and stressful, but most importantly so incredibly helpful.  People shared recent wins, biggest current challenges, future of work/people, and we did some “show and tell” demoing of things we’d built.  Today, I’m excited to officially open the community up to AIT leaders to join.  What’s the plan with AIT Society? 1. Virtual roundtables with other AIT leaders for “real talk” 2. Newsletter with data/benchmarks and AIT leaders opining on the most pressing topics 3. The session is called "Good Spend, Bad Spend", dedicated to what Zapier learned tracking its own AI costs. I'll be joined by Karly Gelardi, our Director of AI Enablement. What we'll cover: an output metric can go up and still be a loss. If headcount or AI spend outpaced the gain, nothing got better; the cost just moved. Karly calls it the "does this actually count" check, and it killed a few things we were proud of. So we measure in 3 layers: 1. The workflow: what did this pilot actually move? (revenue, speed, productivity, cost avoidance, risk) 2. The metric the team already tracks, paired with a guardrail: quality, headcount, spend, token volume. 3. Company-level ratios, directional only. Those tell you when the first two layers are lying to you. I'll walk through this and more next week, Wednesday September 23rd.
